Right! I almost dropped mine a couple months back; shelves are quite dangerous for these girls (and boys).
Hey Danny…Can't figure out how to email you… What's your email again ^_^ So forgetful
"Hey guys-just made it off the plane- still okay though!"
OMG my dream ^_^ Kizuna, who looks like me, is a surfer girl! Catch a wave Kizuna!!!
Another innovative addition to the Smart Doll that our good friend Danny created!
I ponder over the fact that she does not come with a brazier, or that they are not sold separately. Maybe you all at Mirai store could release one ^_^
Don't forget the pajamas! Smart dolls are so cute that they need to be comfy!
Mirai is so cute!! And she's even cuter as Mirai Millennium with little Retrokyu at her side!
How can we reach you for business opportunities ?
It's really amazing that how you shared such information. i'm really shocked. i see it as a humanitarian act some how and i really would like to thank you for this. specially when you said that " so that others can use the knowledge to make stuff too. " thanks again!
I can't select the beige version in the shop ("select color of choice from pull down.") or did you sell only the red one at this time?
I became aware of the "Smart Dolls" yesterday - wow, are they georgeous! Beautiful work, really - but so far :(
Have you come to toy trade fairs in Germany in time? Or do you have already some dealers which you delivered here?
Hope you understand my bad english ^^
Many Greetings, Doschi
( forgot to proofread, not my native language/ do pardon) A few personal opinions that might help promote the Japans 2020 Olympics : First: The committee with the private sector businesses should take advantage of most of the Japan-theme conventions that are held abroad. Second: The Japan Tourism Agency could implement an agreement with the Japanese airlines that enables some sort of quota for cargo that can benefit the private Japanese businesses. This would enable fast track transportation, of promotional and informational merchandise with low costs. Third: most big conventions are held in big cities therefore have embassies and most of them have connections flights to Japan. This is one way for promoting the Olympics of 2020, and its culture to already fans and newcomers. Another consideration is that most Japanese culture-theme conventions will charge nothing to little to have Cool Japan enterprises participate and be part of the conventions. You can also play it as a package agreement ; encompassing all the agencies into one large booth (just if it works of course). This should enable the agencies to come in contact and promote the Olympics in a direct manner with the people that are already interested in Japans culture and the newbies of this great culture.
sooo... any plans on making these available for purchase? I'd love costumes for them!
I know! Every time there is a new post my wallet is getting thinner and thinner. May be I should pour some water and make it expand a little XD
Danny, you are an asshole to my wallet. I JUST ordered Eiji, but the tan guy due out march is BEAUTIFUL!
I hope my credit card recovers T.T
when it leaves the doll 1/6

MCM Expo, Manchester, England
Got mine of a UK seller on eBay preowned.
One of my favorite figures.
clean you suit!
it would be nice if you can make her mouth move.its a really good idea to do Danny.
i would want one that speaks and can move it's mouth. it would look more realalistic.
So awesome! I hope to see this become a thing! I would definately buy it~ I hope it wasn't (isn't) a joke X3
Hello from Canada!
I am just hoping for an update on the smart doll plus. I have always wanted a robot like this! I've wanted a small one, and I know that others want a larger size and that you are focused on developing that... but at the same time it is hard to tell from the pictures how far you are in your process. I want to have an idea of where you all are in the process, and what the ETA currently is. Thanks!
You have nice way to share your knowledge. Well organized and perfectly arranged thank you.
Ram Manager Pro APK
It's really amazing idea about your smart doll.
I also noticed that you are trying to make it able to connect with IFTTT.
So I am wondering if you need some way to let the doll able to connect with the IPcamera for liveview.
(I mean with other cameras in the house instead of setting one in the doll's head)
We are TUTK from Taiwan specializing in video transforming platform and IoT connection ways.
The main solution we provide is let iOS/Android able to connect with the devices in house with 3G or Wi-Fi.
Now there's about 3kk devices with our solution in the world (Like スマカメ in Amazon JP)
If you are interested in linking with cameras , please kindly tell me! (email@example.com)
I am looking forward to talk with you in Tokyo!
zoo's are sad but they do a good job of educating kids and adults about what animals are out there and how big they can really get. i think the most important part is that the animals aren't alone in their pen. 3 or 4 of the same animal seems about right. pals to play all day with ^^;
how have they held up? its been almost 10 years!
...Her transformation is too fuwa fuwa~
bout the wheels...ya because of that simple fact, non-remove-able, I had to put them aside, for some kids using them(my mum gave them to sb for a moment) in dirt+coca cola...heh yet I enjoyed rolleblading back then, don't have a photo still...
Got the same exact color :D
Danny, I love this smart doll plus! When can I buy one??
I don't speak Japanese? What does it say?
I really love Chitose's character designs here , but I don't know if i'll buy her doll as I really don't like the mouth design I've seen so far. =/
Victor M. Tombini
When converted to Australian dollars the doll itself is over $600 and the clothing is up to $184!
I think the dolls look great but for a non-robotic toy (btw why is it called a smart doll when there are no robotics/electronic versions for sale yet) don't you think the prices a a bit too high?
When your selling a t-shirt for a doll at a higher price than what I would pay for a t-shirt for myself to wear, there is something very WRONG with the the world.
When you begin mass production either in Japan or ffshore will prices drop and if so when. Will the price drops be significant do you predict?
At these prices your non-smart smart dolls are toys fr the rich only. I can't afford such prices as much as I love anime and your characters.
I've been torn apart between buying Mirai and Ivory for a while. I think that Ivory is SUPER gorgeous with her green eyes and red hair, but Mirai seems like she's got more of a character and personality built already. Ivory seems like the 'side choice' of Ebony, and I feel like she doesn't get much pictures and publicity like Mirai and the older models.
Can you describe Ivory's character to me? What she is, and the story behind her? I'd love to hear more about her. I also would like some advice on buying them, as if I've decided who to buy, I'd be a first time doll owner^^ Which one do you think will be better? Thank you in advance^^
Invaluable writing . This blog is so cute!! :) Kawaii!! BTW , if people is requiring to merge two images , my colleague saw a service here http://goo.gl/nhPTcm.
Australia does prawns and ham.
That`s me, OMG! But my Chest isnt that big, im a MAN. Nice Work ;)
Everything otaku! Anime and figures especially. Just loves to listen to Hikara, loads up figure news and read anime reviews.
Good luck to all participants!
And good luck to Danny-kun! Hope to see the new and improved DannyChoo.com soon! ^^
I'm guessing this is the day that the figma Mirai will be released, Danny-kun? ^^
Anyways, can't go to Japan to attend the event. But I take it that I will enjoy reading your post on it soon enough!
I've read rave reviews of the D5000 and I'm impressed by the shots that you've taken, Danny! Maybe pumping up the ISO too high on the Haruhi shot was something not intended, but even by standards it looks good. You did mention that you didn't know how to use the camera correctly, yet the results are stunning.
The one thing I lack in my DSLR is the live view function. At first I'm okay with it, but a time grew I began to wonder why didn't I invest on one which has. Well, there's always next time...
Hope to see more Tokyo shots with the new cam! ^^
Kagamin is like an absolute must for both Miku and Kagami fans. Look at that O.O face...priceless.
Now here's the thing: is this more adorable than the Nendoroid? Hmm...
Nice... really looks good. Understandably she'll be more expensive due to the crafty design! Love it!
Thanks for the info on this! ^^;
What better way to intro yourself than doing the trademark Stormtropper Tokyo Dance! Love it!
By the way, is the word "lising" on purpose or a typo, Danny? ^^;
Nice... Veteran Otaku here! ^w^
I just don't understand why do parents treat their children this way. I mean, can't they work for themselves instead of doing silly and hideous things like this?
Lifetime in jail, in my opinion!
Our friendly neigbourhood tenrou has provided a how-to on making an account on Nico-Nico.
*digs through tenrou's News item*
here it is: http://www.dannychoo.com/detail/mac/eng/image/13844/Tenrou%27s+How+To+-+Nico+Nico+Douga.html
I bet tenrou would be really happy about this new implementation. He will jump for joy with the amount of Miku vids he provides week-in, week-out!
*awaits tenrou's next Miku batch, and first Weekly Miku with Nico Nico vids*
It's more like, Danny will appear as her father! ^^
Well, I've already commented on Twitter, but I guess I'll say it again here. Now with more space to write! ^^
Full feeds is always better is for those who don't want to wait for the site to download the info that they want to read. It's easier for the to just read what they want on a RSS Reader. But, like you pointed out, it's a two-edged thing. It deprives slightly on the traffic side.
Let's look at it this way: wouldn't it drive traffic to the site if the person reading would like to comment? I guess either way, for DannyChoo.com, comments are bound to be everywhere (especially when you have the Miku-lover tenrou around) ^^ !
This has got to be one of the worst bootleg ever!
The public buses that goes to the main city of Kuala Lumpur always gets packed in the afternoon. Less breathing space...
The train service here is a shame as well. Even though everyone is supposed to lineup to allow outgoing passengers to disembark first, ignorance is bliss among them. I remember getting pushed when I was supposed to go out at my destination and have to take another train back to where I wanted to go...which was 5 stations away! ToT
There are cases where it does get that crowded. I remember getting packed during after working hours (5-6pm) in KL Sentral, and during Independence Day!
Get well soon, Danny! A Malaysian nurse will arrive ther at precisely 6pm Malaysian time! >.<
Nice pics as usual, Danny! Great shoot. Meaning to ask you, do you use a macro lens for the shoots, or the standard lens (18-55mm)?
By the way, more news from Japan would be great! Most of us don't really go to Japan much, and figures are widely covered here by most of the members. Your take on Japan lifestyle is a joy to read!
you should see reviews on Gundam 00 and CLANNAD. all of them got terrible ratings...which really make me question their reviews.
not to mention Yuki, Shana and Ren's eyes too! XD
many eyes...many winking eyes...! No no...must...resist...
*clicks* ARGH....now I'm a 2D-Girl Fan!!!! Thanks to Danny for the conversion!
every morning, afternoon, evening and night!
still like to mix around my emoticons. but now, most of my friends use the Japanese emoticons. Well, it's getting popular imo!
was just starting to get interested in figures, so I Googled my resources. Then I bumped into here...
The rest, as they say, is history.
okay...so your dad is THE Jimmy Choo! Congrats, man! He made our country proud, and now you have made your name as well! You have fulfilled your wish and you're happy about it!
How I wish I want to be as successful as you. I'll look up to you as a role model that is successful outside in Japan. Maybe my future kids can write about you! ^^
Good luck on your future success, Danny! Hopefully, I get to meet you in person as well! ^^
Most of the stuff I watched/watching is like, popular. Code Geass and Macross are two of those.
Some others I watched based on storyline, like Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and Kyaoran Kazoku Nikki!
Oh, CCCP for Windows, SMPlayer for Ubuntu!
