Tokyo Marathon 2010 Countdown

This poster is now popping up all over Tokyo on the subway network, Tokyo Metro being sponsors of the Tokyo Marathon. It's only 10 days away now, and I'm getting nervous. I'm more concerned about the live streaming video or gps uplink failing, than the actual run. I hope to make it as entertaining as possible for everyone watching - it starts at 9am on the 28th February, so for those of you in the US that'll be Saturday evening - weather permitting.
Top left of this poster it says "Tokyo is beginning to run towards spring" - and I should hope so too - we woke up to snow all over the branches of our cherry tree this morning! It's reached that time of year when I'm getting tired of the cold. Anyone who's lived in Japan will know just how cold Japanese houses get, due to an almost complete lack of insulation (and of course, no central heating). Our house has the magic ability to be even colder inside than it is outside. We sometimes climb in the fridge to warm up.
Looking at this poster, I'm not sure my face will look so happy when I get to the end - it'll be more tears and exhaustion!
