Great pics as always, Danny! And about Soul Eater, it's progressing quite nicely at the moment. Whilst it's not exactly ground-breaking, it's fast-paced and energetic and I really like the art style. The humour content isn't too bad either. Also noticed an ad for Nabari no Ou (right next to the Soul Eater ad, actually). That show's pretty good too, although I find Soul Eater more entertaining. Yay! Been waiting for this since it was announced. Didn't have enough money for the figma Haruhi that came with the PS2 Haruhi game but I'll hopefully be ready for this. Strangely enough I'm also looking forward to owning the game itself. Hare Hare Yukai on my Wii? Count me in. However, as is the case for most anime-licence games, I fear that my hopes and expectations are unlikely to be fulfilled. Nevermind... ( コメントを見る » )

Yep, japanese music is great! In fact, my favourite band is, and always will be, the pillows. After hearing the tunes they did for FLCL, I checked out their incredible backcatalog. What I loved the most was the sheer variation of their style of music, almost an evolution if you will. Some of their earlier works are truly wonderful to listen to (the album Living Field comes to mind). Naturally, as you say, most of the Japanese artists I've delved into have done OP/ED songs for anime series. My faves here include Asian Kung-Fu Generation,... ( コメントを見る » )

I'm gonna go for a middle-way and say I like both. Which I do. Standard non-articulated figures are nice and pretty whilst articulated figures are fun to play with. Everyone's a winner, especially now that articulated figures are looking better and better! ( コメントを見る » )

I really like both Zero no Tsukaima and Gundam 00. Zero no Tsukaima has a nice story with decent fan service, as well as probably one of my all-time favourite male lead characters. Gundam 00 has re-vitalised the Gundam franchise for me personally, with an interesting story with plenty of room for further development. I'm highly anticipating what's gonna happen in both these anime in the future! ( コメントを見る » )

Hmm... That C.C./Kallen figure is kinda questionable. Nice idea though. What I wanna know is which company's making that Nagi figure? The quality is pretty good, so its nice to know that similar quality HnG figures are gonna be made in the near future. And of course your figure posts rock, Danny! But then again so do your Week in Tokyo articles. I'm sure your other readers won't mind the odd figure article, especially in the wake of WonFes. Sure it's a little bit rough around the edges but saying that it's as ugly as sin is a little bit harsh in my opinion... I already gots the Maria figure on preorder but this may sway my decision. Seconded. Tonkatsu ramen is amazing. As for the soggy thing, at some places I've been to they've served the tonkatsu separately from the ramen, which is nice. Although I do like a bit of soup on the meat too, just for that added moistness! And now I'm hungry... ( コメントを見る » )

Seem's like we're all pretty united in our opinions. Haven't really owned a figma figure so I can't be completely judgemental, but the Revoltech figures do seem to have nicer joints (especially the Fraulein line).
