The cel-shading looks grittier this time around and the story dips into the relationship between Deunan and Briareos. Those parts I liked. But the action sequences really sucked balls. I'm not really that much into figures but I really liked the Sky Girls unpainted figure with Sonic Diver. Danny I believe you posted something about that. I've been looking for it online but have been unable to locate it. Is it even out? I'm not sure. I like the unpainted sonic diver w/pilot because it reminds me of 3D Studio Max and Maya clay/resin renders. It really shows off the model work ... now, if I can only find it. ( コメントを見る » )
The second season is definitely on my watch list. Gunslinger Girl (season 1) was one of the best and most heartfelt anime I've ever seen. Oh those poor cyber lolis with guns --how I cried. I hope the ending to this season isn't as cheesy as the last. ( コメントを見る » )
True Story: Years ago my buddies and I used to hit the glass everyday and we would literally tweak on games for days at a time. No sleep, no food, but lots of water, games, and about 875,633 pit stops at the can. We started with all the versions of DDR on the PS2 we can find, and when we mastered ENDLESS with 9,999 combos with moved onto StepMania on the PC because it had more songs. I have no basis for comparison since I've never eaten at a traditional Japanese restaurant (in the sense that it's located in Japan). I usually go to Musashi's to gorge myself at the sushi bar and at the hibachi table (where they throw stuff into the air and cook in front of you). I've been wanting to try Fugu (pufferfish) and Nyotaimori (body sushi) but can't find a reputable place in LA. Perhaps it'll have to wait for my graduation trip to Tokyo. ( コメントを見る » )
The anime should stay true to the elements of the game and have the characters shoot themselves on the head to summon Personas. After all, it's not a real gun, it's an "Evoker."
Besides, the first time Minato Arisato (the main character) shoots himself on the side of the head there was no brain splatter just an artsy flash of cyan that lasted a second. ( コメントを見る » )
When you're in a public restroom it's Cowboy time, but when you're at home you shouldn't have to worry. I mean, it's your own turf; you know the toilet, you know where offsides is. Point is, you should feel comfortable enough to know where you're aiming. Some people can go with their eyes close and still hit the mark, like me. It all depends on footing Danny.
