Crows are indeed quite smart birds. A few weeks ago an aviary protection agency was forced to capture a crow that was terrorizing a neighboorhood, it was attacking male (only male) passerby's, seemingly for the fun of scaring the living daylights out of them. ( コメントを見る » )
I hope the finale does the best episodes of the series justice, that it's well written and makes some daring and good plot choices and that they wrap everything up nicely. Plus I hope for a a small epilogue showing what happens to the survivng characters afterwards. ^^

When I sustained a wrist tendon infection some years ago I had real trouble using a mouse. Since I would always crush the inflamed tendons against the desk surface I got one of those wrist gel pads and I haven't stopped using them since. I always take one to work and at home I even use an extra wide eXactRest from Razer (came with the Razer eXactMat mousepad ).
The one I take to work is a model with only the wrist gel pad, no mouse mat attached to it, so it's roughly the size and shape of a mouse so I see many people mistake it for... ( コメントを見る » )
I use Vista 64bit on Motoko-chan to use the full 4Gb of Ram she has, I've had no real problems with Vista except Ati video drivers issues when I first got it which were fixed with recent Catalyst drivers.
Besides that it's stable, but it's rather slow, I see no speed improvement using Vista on an E6750 with 4Gb of PC6400 Ram compared to XP on a socket 939 Sempron 2800+ with 1Gb of Ram.
On Akari-chan (my "Aria" PC) I use Mandriva Linux, quite happy with that and its 3D desktop but it has the drawback of several iss... ( コメントを見る » )
Depending on the series, once (or if) it gets licensed I either get the R1 US release or the R2 European release. Both always include a subtitle track and a Japanese original audio track, I have no love or need for dubs.
If a series does not get licensed I pretty much don't get a hold of it on DVD, once my Japanese gets better I might, but they are rather expensive... so sometimes I miss out on owning a serie son DVD like "Mahoraba ~Heartful Days~". I always feared I'd never get "Aria" but the first season is due ... ( コメントを見る » )
In 2000 I hit the job market and started to work. First at EDS as a hardware engineer/asset manager for one of their customer contracts. After a few short interims I joined Atos-Origin as a helpdesk engineer, but that was a dead end so I quit last year and joined Data Flow Consultancy that currently has me assigned to a customer where it's going ok, I'll see what prospects it holds. The first hours when there's still some air in the circuit a low hum is audible, but now that the circuit is completely degassed (free of air bubbles) it's absolutely silent, I have to put my ear against the Reserator to hear the pump. (The bottom of the Reserator has rubber padding btw so it transmits little to no vibrations onto the surface it rests on.)

The lower part of the Reserator gets lukewarm to the touch, the top actually stays fairly cool so I'm less worried about the Reserator being too hot than her getting some direct sunlight rays.
Yeah, Kozue Amano's manga art is great! ^^ But for backgrounds and the print on the case the anime art was more suitable since it's more crisp and clear. ( コメントを見る » )
