i believe mainstream media anywhere is evil. XD all they are really after is ratings. recently, a famous actor here died of cancer. according to accounts, it was a painful death. anyways, during the wake, reporters were all over the place interviewing guests and family members. the son of the deceased actor was glaring at the reporters the whole time. one insensitive reporter approached him and asked "so how do you feel about your father's death?" it was apprently on the son's face that he was vexed by the question. he... prices have indeed gone up here. it's really insane! unlike in first world countries, people here don't stab themselves just because prices went up. most of the time they turn to their gods for divine intervention. they believe that god who is testing them and that things will get better. it's not totally safe where i live too. i guess the difference is that, here you'd be killed if you are being robbed or something and you put up a fight. what's scary about the incident in akihabara is the randomness of the whole thing and the intention of that person to just kill. that for me is scary. *shivers* ( コメントを見る » )

nice nook there. i myself keep my computer area neat and free of clutter. i tried having my figures around but realized later on that it was harder to clean and i couldn't concentrate on my work. i always end up playing with them. for now, they are tucked away safely 'til i find a nice display case for them.
