Once I'm 18 and finish HS, it's straight to the army for 24 months (3 years) T_T...Compulsory here. And refusing to join can get you into military jail and some serious trouble. The monthly wages are about 300-400 nis which is something like 100$. Which is nothing and you can't work or leave the country during those 3 years:( Living in Israel sucks._. ( コメントを見る » )

Doesn't really change my view on Japan but the accident really made me sad=/ Overall, this whole accident is really depressing... The crime rate in my country and the city a live in is pretty high. Almost every weekend a few people get stabbed here and the police don't do shit... And aside from that, there's always the chance of a terrorist attack like a suicide booming and such.
