Thank goodness that the government got all the big telecoms together and covered most of Japan's metropolitan areas in fiber ten years ago, right? So, how is service with BIGLOBE? I've heard horror stories from friends who had it, and were more or less forced to switch over to @nifty because of BIGLOBE's incredibly strict network restriction policy towards P2P. Anyhow, I get around 12Mbps up/ 2Mpbs down (Lives very close to the LAN box thankfully) with unlimited traffic here for about 15USD a month which I think includes v... ( コメントを見る » )

Macross was not the first to introduce transforming mechs... It was the first one to have a realistic transformation sequences. (The other being Zeta Gundam) Anyhow, this first episode was impressive in terms of animation quality, but it doesn't seem to fit the overall context of Macross. (It felt more like a cross between Gunbuster and Starship Troopers...) It reminds me of the Patlabor spin-off movie, WXIII. Which didn't quite fit the world fans were familiar with. Generally because there's no concept of ownership with downloads (Most music download services in Japan, JiTMS included, are DRM ridden...), people thus prefer to buy physical copies instead. Quality is another issue.(A ripped WAV file of the highest quality is still relatively poor when compared to CD audio) Honestly, there's still a market for LPs, so I can't see CDs going out of style any time soon. Saw them over by my local toys store yesterday. Five bucks a pop. Too bad I blew my budget on games this week, or else I would have definitely bought a box worth of them.
