Very nice figure, I like the detailing on the outfit. Interesting base - it looks very similiar to the bases that Yujin use for some of their larger gashapon releases. Suitable for gashapon but not what I'd expect Kotobukiya to be using. ( コメントを見る » )

It's kind of funny but until you see something that points out all the annoying bits in fansubs you don't really remember that it was not always that way. I generally only download a show that really interests me and that I expect to purchase anyway. Like Gurren Lagann - absolutely no way I was waiting for the dvd with that series but I now own the first dvd release which (perhaps wrongly) makes it a little more ok to download it in th first place. I once stood on one of my HCM-PRO zakus and was extremely surprised when everything just popped back into place - no broken bits at all! Now that's good engineering. ;) Sad to say Revoltechs are not quite so sturdy...For PVC figurines I'd say go with glue...or seek counseling. :P ( コメントを見る » )

Saber is a cool character for sure. I don't normally like the bathing suit / underwear versions of characters I like though. Much prefer cool uniforms or complex multi layered outfits - HOWEVER those pictures do make a strong case for changing my opinions. ;) The pic of her holding Keroro Gunsou is pure genius! I'll be attending Otakuthon in Montreal, will be going as a Dealer though so probably wont get to see too much of it though. Like others have said, I sometimes wish there was not quite so much trend following in North America, Naruto and Bleach are ok but after seeing the 1000th person dressed as Naruto my eyes begin to twitch just a little bit. ;) That said the last Con I went to was Animaritime and there were many people cosplaying D.Gray Man characters. Well I was born and lived in the UK (York not London) until I was 25 and then moved to Canada. I now live in Halifax Nova Scotia with my Canadian wife and absolutely prefer it to the UK. Not as big a transition as yours Danny but I'm impressed by anyone who can make it in a foreign land. I only really go back to the UK now maybe once a year to see family and friends. I import quite a lot of ufo catcher prizes and I personally think the quality is very very good for the cost of the items. Sega, Taito and Banpresto are my favourite companies, I would say they consistently release good quality items. I would imagine that it would be very difficult to actually WIN something from an actual ufo catcher machine though ;) I used to live in the UK and never ever saw any decent prizes in crane games, just stuffed animals generally.
