The hell with paying someone to wait in line for me. Comiket is about the building up anticipation leading up to the race against the other hopefuls to the entrance and getting the good stuff first, besides waiting in lines isn't so bad if you've got a way to keep yourself occupied and getting your mind off the wait-that's what makes it so exciting, giving up that exhileration+money over a little wait just isn't worth so thanks but no thanks. Never heard of that myth. I wasn't really aware of emo's presence in the Japanese music scene. As for female otaku, I do know that they exist, but in very small numbers. There aren't any in my area tho, so the closest thing to a fujoshi/otome? i've ever met was the usual fangirl who was less than enlightened on the otakusphere. Come to think of it, I've never even met a single otaku at all in all the time ive been living here. Sometimes i feel isolated when my normal(sort of) friends only talk about the mainstream ...
