Well, this time the story seems to have more underlying plot and story arcs. Pretty bold and unthinkable crossover/idea borrowing(if this is what you called?) by sipping some previous workings in Macross Series. U should had noticed Basara's Song at 2nd episode, then the Legend of Zero, and the upcoming 13th Episode "Memory of Gloval(or Global?)" where 1st Macross somehow reappear in the Frontier series. If given choice of saving family or figure 1st during natural disaster, I choose family. Save them, as human life values the most in the world.
