I'm also willing to claim that its counterfeit... but I'm not really sure. My version was bruised up out of the box, which lead me to believe it was used or something, but the painting and shading was completely different. Paint was barely glossy if not at all, and the shading was extremely subtle. However, since mine might have been a little hiccup on Alter's production line, I'm curious if Alter has inconsistencies like mine and that ones glossy finish. The way I see it, people around my area are too "cool" to watch anime. Thus never experience the Japanese culture of animation. I do believe Americans who choose to be ignorant will always see anime as just cartoons, and not an art form, a media that transcends time, with the ability to express far superior emotions than that of current American cartoons. I can't think of any examples at the momment, but I'm absolutely sure Japanese animation, manga, etc has influenced American pop culture beyond any Anime Hater's ex... ( コメントを見る » )

I've have one bad experience with my Sony Cybershot DSC-F717. Basically the camera wouldnt pick up anything, there was nothing on the screen either except this pixelated red dotting. It wasn't all too bad of an experience though, Sony had a recall which wasn't too slow and got it fixed. However, the camera still experiences some problems... ( コメントを見る » )

I think this is a good development. Not a hardcore Ghost In The Shell fan myself, but I know enough from past experiences not to expect too much from movie adaptations. They either stay close to the origins or stray far away, and it's not surprising. Either way, going into a movie with an open mind provides a much better experience. Looking at this in a positive light, could open the world of GITS to new viewers, spawn more merchandise etc etc. I don't see this as a bad thing, as it will be interesting to see how Spielberg will int... I tried blogging over the past year and it wasn't as rewarding as I would have hoped. Maybe I wasn't doing as much promoting as I should have, or didn't post consistently. The whole reason I started blogging was so I could expose myself to peoples opinions, advice etc. Instead I had too little feedback and comments for IMO too much effort. Another reason for blogging was for me to review some figures not many people had, etc., and help people know if they're worth it or not. Perhaps I'm too young to be blogging, and... ( コメントを見る » )
