Oh, and I didn't even answer your question.
I go on international flights now and then for work (and sometimes for play), and as strange as it may sound, I found that drinking a fair amount of water keeps lag at bay. I find it makes the body feel refreshed and less ill.
I'm lucky enough that I rarely feel jet lag but at times it does get to me. If I feel it getting strong, I usually chill the lag out with a pepsi or coke. I don't know why it works, it just does for me! (
