There were no suits in the first film because it wasn't even a Starship Troopers film to begin with. The film was written, then shortly before production someone noticed "hey, alien bugs and marines. This is a bit like Starship Troopers!". A quick rights acquisition later, followed by a name change here and there, and that's the film. The anime, though keeping the powered armour (and they look pretty good, too), is unfortunately awful. Not really worth watching, even if you're a big fan of the book. ( コメントを見る » )

The 360 only uses DVDs for games. There is no internal HD-DVD drive, and the external ad-on only plays HD-DVD movies. The reason for the price difference is probably because the 360 is relatively unpopular in Japan, so lower prices are needed to boost sales. ( コメントを見る » )

I much prefer the look of the JSDF suit http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVKK-26), but this one is certainly pretty nice (I already have a cute lil' articulated Tachikoma who sits on my monitor.
