I have friends who grew up in more rural areas who went to slaughterhouses as children on field trips, but in contrast to whales, livestock are raised and bred whereas whales are dependent on their own. If a series introduces many characters with unique traits (different moe youso) and tends to emphasize those traits with shallow action-reaction behaviour, I would consider it to be more focused on the draw than the substance. This is why I like joke-heavy anime, since the enjoyability level can lie in things that are not rehashing an old Rumiko Takahashi manga. ( コメントを見る » )

There are good anime, there are bad anime. There are good North American cartoons, there are bad ones. I can still tune in to old MGM and Warner Brothers cartoons from the technicolor age and laugh my ass off. I can watch an episode of Family Guy and chuckle or guffaw every minute. But a lot of the stuff targeting younger audiences seems to play to popular culture and, since I'm really out of tune with that being somewhere between a nerd and bookworm, I tend to shy away. Most of my experience with Macs is at school microcomputing facilities, which is pretty low key. I haven't had any serious issues with the PC's I've built though, so I don't expect to switch to Mac any time soon. If I ever had any problems, I'd just shuffle HD's or swap parts. Come across lots of free PC parts here and there too from other who upgrade, so that's another incentive to stay. ( コメントを見る » )

I've got 2 laptops and 2 desktops on the same table. With my external drives, the setup gives me about 700 gigs which I shuffle files over all too often when I dl new anime or erogames... Only things on my desk are cables and hardware ;_; ( コメントを見る » )

Implants reduce noise and interference since they touch the surface of the brain and are not separated from the electrodes by the skull, scalp, and whatever else may get in the way. But the testing I've seen with those are with disabled individuals who have lost functionality with parts of their bodies.
