Chinese born in Australia, currently learning Japanese, began learning like 4 years ago.
Anime kept me focused in learning Japanese more, especially during those days when I felt too lazy to learn from a book.
Liked anime since I was a child (5 yrs old??), first series I watched was DragonballZ & Doraemon.
I love to draw, but I'm not too good at it... My current goal is to draw decent anime/manga in a few minutes rather than a few hours... (problem is... I want everything perfect, which means erasing and redrawing, erasing etc...)
Love anything kawaii.
Going to Japan at the end of this year. otanoshimi ni shite imasuyo.

We're not Christians, but since everyone else does it we just followed their lead. Plus, Australia is a multicultural country... so we celebrate quite a lot of other cultural festivities.
We used to celebrate Christmas back when I was much younger. It was so fun helping out setting up, decorating the tree and hanging up lights. The last celebration we had as a family was about 4 years ago when my relatives hosted a BBQ at their house. You are so lucky you went to Japan before the economy started to go bad.
With the current economy I am only able to buy roughly half of what I would have been able to during the time you went.

I've always wanted a scorpion as a pet... I did end up finding one, one day. It was a species which only grows to 2.5cm ~_~... I wanted a big one lol.
Anyway, it was fun keeping it for a while, fed it spiders, flies and other little insects. Let it go in the end, because I got bored of it.
