Some very cool things here, first of all the solid snake scene lookes amazing. The Gurren Lagann doing the "giga drill breaker" is really impressive, I need to get one of those. ( View formatted comment » )

First I'd like to say, that whats in her mouth, must be a wrapped up candy or something, because that is way too small to be a condom. Now to the subject. Art is simply a form of expression, it's no more complicated than that. What one sees as meaningful, they can project in any manner they see fit, thus creating art. This image, just as much as the linked image, is art. The only difference is the world it was created in. As the world changes, so do peoples representations, though having the technologies of today, makes it more c... ( View formatted comment » )

Thats pretty damn disturbing, I can't imagine who gets turned on by this. General I find that it is natural in some cases to find females attractive as soon as they reach the age when they can safely reproduce, say 15-16. This makes sense seeing as in the past it was not uncommon for a 15 year old to have a child, but until they reach that maturity, they are essentially babies, and to a male who has the natural interest in reproducing, they should have no sexual qualities. In todays world even 15-16 is pretty young, so there is really no r... ( View formatted comment » )

Can't wait, though I'm not getting my hopes up too much, some OVA's are great, while others, not so much. I'm am assuming that since it's an OVA that it will follow some kind of story, and I just cant imaging Lucky Star with a story. ( View formatted comment » )

I say that they should go for it, toplessness is such a nonsensical taboo, and I agree that if men are able to do it, then women should be too. Now I think the same restrictions should apply to women as they do men though, such as, not being able to be topless in certain buisinesses, which are mainly for sanitary reasons. I think that it's time to tear down these types of walls, and leave taboos in the past where they belong. This isnt even completely a matter of equality, This is also a matter of acceptance of the human body. Clothes were... ( View formatted comment » )

This figure looks pretty normal as far as I can tell, not much detail, Except for what is hidden under her cast-off skirt. They really seem to have put all of the detail work into her "opanchu" like nice shading, and texture that the rest of the figure seems to lack. Whats up with that? ( View formatted comment » )

Personally the worst anime in my opinion would be either Scry-ed or Trinity Blood. Both of these seemed to be nothing but absurd poses, and story lines that were far from original. I probably like Scry-ed least though, because (although I love most gundam series) I also dislike gundam seed, which seems to have the same creator. ( View formatted comment » )

Do they really have to keep doing this? I mean, they are really starting to cheapen their characters, and storylines if you ask me. Looks pretty of course, but com' on square enix, if you made some new awsome games with great new characters, (and bring back Nobuo Uematsue) then you wouldnt have to keep recycling your characters like this, especially Sephiroth, and other FF7 characters. The old picture at the top I beleive is called "dream of the fishermans wife" knowing the title, Im pretty sure that you can pretty much tell what the story is, without having to read it. ( View formatted comment » )

Agreed, 90's anime was on average the best, It was when anime got a bit more "sassy" and stylized, but before it became the same redundant thing every time. ( View formatted comment » )

The thing about this, with which I beleive will cause me not to want to watch it, is the one main thing that I both love, and hate about anime. Generally anime (especially those with this type of style) tend to make characters go around doing irrational poses, and having redundant conversation, all the while, giving characters a cold, stark (no pun intended) soulless personality. I dont think that Tony Stark could be correctly portrayed in this way. For instance, anyone who has seen the gotham knight animation collection, there is one particula... ( View formatted comment » )

Another Kanu figure? It seems like when I search for kits these days, kanu ones are all i can find. Regaurdless, its still a very nice figure. Seems pretty big, it makes figma Kyon look like he's in the amazon jungle, and is documenting the native amazonian lifestyle. Generally I dont hide my figs or anything from people, unless it were my grandmother, whom I would not want to see them, because she's crazy and would ask to many questions, my folks on the other hand have learned to live with my strange hobbies.
