Is the Long Beach Convention center bigger than the L.A. Convention center? I pray it is not in Orange County next year. That is just too far......for both of us to be exact. ( View formatted comment » )

That is just 1 of many pictures i took with that maid. :p Believe me, there were some that were unappropriate for viewing here. :p Besides that's my secret stash. I pretended that she was a real like Anna-chan. :p ( View formatted comment » )

Thanks Dannychoo. I'll be attending Anime Expo 2008 for the first time ever. It was just last week that i didn't even wanna go but i was pressured into going and now I will be metting a lot of otaku today as well. Though i'm still not sure if i'm gonna go inside, i need to register at the door but for the most part i will be hanging out with fellow otaku at least outside the L.A. Convention Center. I'm still not sure if i'm getting drunk today though. :( ( View formatted comment » )

Wow.......i didn't think Dannychoo got this sort of feedback. But there's always an asshole out there. I get this same kind of shit on MySpace, when local friends bash me and find me creepy when i buy figures, dakimakura, and even when I make anime references in my graffiti art (check my Flick R for photos). I have to say I support you, Dannychoo, 100%. Everyone is special in their own ways. And you said it, life is too short for this crap. The best thing to do is to seperate yourself from a group of people who will just critisize... ( View formatted comment » )

lol.....that part of Tokyo should be called Watts. Most of the Latino & African-American residential areas in Los Angeles County are runned down. Especially out here in the Watts area where i live. Some of it is being renovated while most homes remain the same. There's not much you can do in terms of renovation around the poor communitites in L.A. county. ( View formatted comment » )

How ironic. I saw that Baek Chang Po yesterday when i visited Power Anime in West L.A. Anyway, this is a hard question to answer seeing as I can't think of a moment where i have been really happy in my life. As a child i grew up poor after my dad left me and my mom. As i grew up i never got the things i really wanted and as a child you really don't know what the deal is when you can't get the things you want. I always wanted name brand shoes and clothes and even toys, things i saw other kids my age have. Now that i'm olde... ( View formatted comment » )

Damn, the Akiba cops aren't fooling around. They are cracking down on knives hard out there. And yes, you are allowed to carry consealed knives in L.A., and there is a certain limit in size out here as well. But for the most part, knives are a thing of the past. Everyone has to have a gun now. Though guns are more dangerous and give a higher risk of killing someone, a bullet seems less painful then getting stabbed, shanked or cut up. I wouldn't own fake figures just because they are 'fine' to have. It's the best thing in the world to have a legit & professionally made and painted PVC figure. It hurts your wallet to spend a lot on a figure but it doesn't hurt as much as looking at a fake figure sitting in your room somewhere. I cannot imagine a collector that collects both fake and legit. The lessons i learned did not require any after school or activity clubs. I learned my graffiti & art on my own. I've been drawing since i was a little kid, and i picked up the art of graffiti on a regular daily basis. Besides, it makes me a few bucks here and there. So no i never really took any lessons in my life before. ( View formatted comment » )

The world might be full of different people but one thing that isn't different worldwide is the media. The media just likes to make things more ineteresting. This is not related to the Akihabara stabbings but in the 1992 L.A. riots out here, the media was a problem. The media would show looters and specifically say "There are no police around". The public saw that and decided to go looting themselves. So the media is blamed for making things worse. ( View formatted comment » )

Wow, Maken Ki does look pretty good. But what good is the artwork when the story may not be good? I don't like the sound of how this can be similiar to To Love Ru, since i gave up on To Love Ru after episode 7. It just started boring me for some reason. And it had such a good begining.
