I would still prefer 4:3 over widescreen, but I rarely see standard anymore. Only reason I kept using widescreen since switching three years ago was, was because high definition 16:9/16:10, and it is nice to play games and watch movies in HD. ( View formatted comment » )

Closest thing to an "otaku" store I had near me was Suncoast with there overpriced limited selection of anime stuffs. I highly doubt I would find anything close to a store like the one pictured near me. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't enjoy waking up two hours before classes just so I can eat and shower... So I usually grab a bag of Sun Chips, Grain bar, and apple juice for my breakfast. When not at school I'm not usually up for "breakfast" so I go with lunch. I use to eat hot pockets for breakfast in high school... Like most people, I prefer subs over dubs... I mean, I was able to pick up some Japanese from it; so I like to think I am learning Japanese that way. Not to mention that the Japanese voice actors are usually a lot mroe into it and fit the emotions a lot better than English dubbers. I admit there are a few shows, FLCL, Crayon Shin-Chan, Milk Chan, and similar situational comedy animes that really use jokes only Japanese people would get and are just adapted to American jokes. I agree with you in that there isn't really a good shooter for PS3, I'd say Call of Duty 4, but I have it for 360. I can't stand turn based RPGs (beside Pokemon), so if this RPG isn't like that and more like say Gauntlet Legends, Untold Legends, or From the Abyss I may look into it. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't have great luck... The best thing I probably "won" was free tickets to the Warped Tour... Something that I would never go to if I didn't get free tickets. The "grooviest" thing I say I have won was at bingo on campus... Hardball with Keanu Reeves taped together with microwavable kettle corn. T_T I was depressed to say the least. I started out with dubbed versions of Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing on the old Toonami... Never realizing that I was watching anime. Then after I found Adult Swim and watched FLCL dubbed and then realized I was watching anime...
