I forgot how I first stumbled upon Dannychoo.com but the thing that kept me here was the top categories that showed what this site featured: Japan, Anime, Idols, etc. Though probably the thing that fascinated me the most was life in Japan. I sat for 4-5 hours each day for about a week reading every single Life in Japan article. Was extremely fasinating. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't mind figure coverage, though long bouts of it can get tedious at times. I like a little variety. The only articles I spend less time reading are the Gundam, only because I'm not a big Gundam fan, unless your talking about Macross F. ( View formatted comment » )

Think we all agree that this movie is a horrible idea, when I first heard about it being live action, first thing I thought about was giant gold colored foam wigs. But there is something good about this movie. It will be forever the standard that another Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z cannot be any worse then this. Hm, tend to lean toward the small side, The girl on the right is too big for my taste. The girl on the left is fine, wouldn't mind a little bigger, as for totally flat, it would depend on the face and hair style for my preferences. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't mind long animes, in fact i tend to like them most. To me character develop is important in an anime. Long animes like Eureka 7 (around 50 episodes), Naruto, one piece I really like cause it explores many sides of a character and how they grow over time, and I like seeing my favorite characters get into new and different situations. As well as complex relations like between Renton and Eureka. Although I agree that the longer the series the lower the quality gets and can lead to many fillers. I was in a little bit of a shock when i realized Shirley might die. I'm not really a Shirley fan and would rather see Lulu and Kallen hook up or maybe even C.C. but I rather have her die, she was a fun character. Although this is the one thing I like about anime over American cartoons, you never know if the main character(s) will die or suffer unrecoverable trauma, not that I'm saying thats a good thing but it keeps me in suspense and guessing as to whats gonna happen next.
