some of those plastic balls make good containers
the smaller ones works great for organizing tiny bits of gadgets (memory cards for digi cams?) or earbud-type headphones (damn cords).

usually made of silicone/rubber, sticks by means of (non-permanent) adhesive (something that's like a silly puddy but more stickier and stays in it's form) that's a little complicated to be cleaned by a wet towel. doesn't provide much support but rather gives the pushed up look by pulling the eyes together towards the center.
