I wonder I'm one of the few that get a kick out seeing these Gyan customs. Wouldn't mind owning them, either. (Well, only if they were mass produced. No way can I afford a customized one.) The Gyan is one of my favorite 0079 designs, and to just see such ornate designs attached to them, just seems fitting. ( View formatted comment » )

Hm..I think it depends on the circumstances. If I'm at a Con, and in the crowd, it's no biggie. If I did Cosplay, I think it'd somewhat be expected. Though, if I'm shopping, working or at class or something, I think I'd be happier about if the person said "Hey, I like how this photo turned out, mind if I upload it to my site?" What's that on the right of the bowl? (beneath the chives/onion things) Is that the minced Tuna? Anyhow, it certainly looks good. I wish I could have it for breakfast. Haha ( View formatted comment » )

I'd agree on framing. The only downisde is, sometimes there isn't pre-made frames that'll fit certain poster sizes. T ( View formatted comment » )

Woo! more Macross Revoltech goodies. (just wish they transformed..) I hope the Revoltech folks will release the Idol mecha too. (I want a Nebula!) Anyhow, Danny...did the reps mention anything about the battle damage/explodey bodies on the Fist of the North Star figures? T ( View formatted comment » )

Wow. All those holes in Otaha's back reminds me of those old Centurions toys. (Never did have any as a kid, though.) Is this the same as the "KONAMI Figure Collection SKYGIRLS" line-up? The accessors/weapons are compatible with Busou Shinki figures..but the Skygirls figures themselves, look fixed-pose. Either way, since I like being able to pose my figures, the articulation points don't bother me so much. T ( View formatted comment » )

I sometimes buy second hand if it's on two conditions, I'm broke, or it's really hard to find. I bought a used Final Fantasy soundtrack sometime back, and whoever owned it before me had apparently used it as a Frisbee, cause every single track would end up skipping...so after that I ended up pretty weary of buying second hand. Happy New Year, Danny and everyone! I just started visiting this year, Danny. I really glad you made a site where interests can come together and grow. I've seen so much neat/cool/funny stuff in the meanwhile, it makes each day more interesting. Thanks for a great 2007, and can't wait to see what y'provide in 2008. T ( View formatted comment » )

About Heroes: If you've seen 11 episodes of Season 2, due to the Writer's Strike over here in the states, that was it. From what I understand, once they start filming again, we're going to be heading into the 3rd season/volume. As for the boxes, I'll usually keep them. I'm usually tossing out the carded packagings since they can't be resealed. I recently did clear out just about all of the movie Transformer boxes, though. T ( View formatted comment » )

Not familar with Yatterman, but I found a copy of a Time-Bokan dub I used to watch on VHS when I was a kid. I think Yatterman was either a spin-off, or Time-Bokan was the spin-off. Not sure which...Either way, I'm sort of looking forward to seeing this new version. ( View formatted comment » )

I think I tried it...so I voted yes. It was Korean packaging, but had Pikachu on it. Not sure if I prepared it right, cause every time I ate it, I got sick. >_< I still have the packaging up on my Fridge, though. T ( View formatted comment » )

That TV Tuner is pretty neat, though it's a bit...big. Makes the DS look a little clunky. As for paying for TV, NBC, Fox, ABC and CBS are freebies. PBS is a sorta-freebie. (We can't pick PBS up on antenna, but can with cable.) They also remove programing for about a week, every two months(It seems for KERA at least) and request donations. T ( View formatted comment » )

Looks good...I've been looking for a new JDrama to sink my teeth into..one thing I'm curious about; the guy in the Mopgirl12.jpg, wasn't he Abe Hiroshi's neighbor in "At Home Dad"? If it is, that'll certainly raise my interest a few points. He was fun to watch with Abe. T ( View formatted comment » )

I think I read about one of the Gaijin-friendly apartments(Can't remember the site. I've lost all my bookmarks. Doh!) being near there..so I've been wondering what the area is like. Thanks, Danny! ( View formatted comment » )

That's awesome, Danny. How tall is it? I like Otoha, but I really like Elise(or is it Elisa? I haven't really locked in the spelling of her name yet.) T ( View formatted comment » )

Sounds similar to the lotto in Texas. Do they have scratch-off tickets in Japan? I find those to be more fun. (Though, the Pac-man tickets always let me down. T_T ) And the Sentai commercial was great. Did they actually use bits of the costume? The helmet reminds me of the Megaranger helmet. T ( View formatted comment » )

Sometimes I can't tell if they're gaudy, or awesome. They recently had one driven by Ken(I think that's his name, Gekichopper.) on Gekiranger...when I saw that I was like "Ha, that's awesome." Also, for some folks that mentioned Transformers and Ultra Magnus, the Car Robots(2000, JP)/Robots in Disguise(2001, US) release was based off a Dekotora truck. It's mostly the front bumper, though. Awesome vehicle mode, but really shabby robot mode and transformation. T ( View formatted comment » )

I guess we're pretty safe, since there's been a few nights where I've forgotten to lock the door, and woke up in the morning and was like "...Whoops." Heck, on our old doorknob, if you twisted it one way, then the other way, you could get in without a key. ^_^;; But with that said, I live by what that sign says. ^_^ T ( View formatted comment » )

I was hoping to see a few more Japanese exclusive mice, but wow. These over at Akihabara News, look like they could fill in for baseballs quite fine. Now what would be a good tech gadget to fill in for a bat... Play ball! T ( View formatted comment » )

I like the bag usage. I saw some unlicensed Chinese Transformers model kits done in a similar-style bag, and it looked neat. These kits look neat, too. It's hard to tell how well the articulation is, though. T ( View formatted comment » )

For Anime, I don't mind if it's dubbed or subbed. If it's aired on TV and handled well, I'll watch it dubbed...but, American dubbing has became a bit stale. I can watch one title, and recognize one actor's voice from a completely different title...and sometimes, it sounds like the same voices for both characters. As of late, for DVDs, I'll watch it on Japanese(aturally for Fansubs. :) )..think the same person is doing one character from another series, and find out it's a completely different person that...
