Born in Glasgow, Scotland moved to South Africa for 5 years. Moved to the USA in 1979 and been here since.
Time passed and now 33, married w/ two young sons (3 yr. and 1 yr. old).
When not at work (Liquor Distrib. in NY), I am at home playing on the PC / PS3 and downloading and watching as much anime I can get my grubby hands on.

I can honestly say that I have never waited in a queue that long for a Krispy Kreme.
There is a Krispy Kreme factory next door to my place of business in NY. They send over about 5 dozen doughnuts in the mornin'...they are super sweet. You have to chew through the sugar to swallow.

Haven't had any accidents recently...knock on wood. Though I did a number on myself when I was younger. Was playing over a friends house and during a lapse in sanity we decided to climb a metal chain that was connected a metal structure used to pull cars from engines. Well, you know how this ends. It falls, I get hit in the head and back and 10 staples/32 stitches later I'm back together. The real pain was not being able to walk for 3 months as my spine had bruising. Still have a few damaged discs to this day because of it.

Get seriously depressed after seeing paycheck after Federal Tax/State Tax/ Social Security/401K/Health Insurance/Dental Insurance... Makes a grown man want to cry? Guess it's about 35% of my pay each week. Though it's probably the average around here. ( View formatted comment » )

Tried a few variations of Coca Cola products from Japan when down in EPCOT/Disney World. THey were rather good but much stronger in taste.
You mentioned how you have to drive 40 min. to get yer self some root beer. I'm in the same boat but have to drive 60 min to get myself some Irn-Bru. Love the stuff, can't get enough of it when I visit Glasgow, Scotland. ( View formatted comment » )

I took a Segway tour in Disney's EPCOT on my last trip. I can't say that I broke any speed records on it and took a bit to get used to it. There were quite a few fender benders on that tour.
I can just imagine a Segway fitted with a siren and some flashers....I can't imagine you'ld catch anyone unless they modified it to increase the speed. ( View formatted comment » )
The weather has finally turned cold here in the NorthEast, had to turn the heat on today in the house.
We've just got past about 3 or 4 days of straight rain. Can't say things grind to a halt here when it rains. Though, the number of car accidents here tend to increase when it rains as everyone puts the pedal to the floor and jumps to light speed when it rains. I never understood this?
