If there was only one hour before my plane my money would already be gone from all of the stuff I would have already bought. This makes it an easy choice for me. ( View formatted comment » )

Just a heads up - ZZ Gundam and V Gundam have fansub releases coming out presently, if you want English subs for them. I know what you mean though, and it's even harder to find DVD releases sometimes. UC gundam is definitely worth the time to look for, though. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm surprised at the lack of old-anime knowledge. Old anime is worth watching too! Although I can understand that there's so much anime out there it's hard to watch the new stuff and the old stuff. Gundam fans should check out all of Tomino's Gundam, if not all of UC! :) ( View formatted comment » )

Back in the summer I bought 2 x 1 GB sticks of DDR2 800 for about 80 USD. I think that's a pretty good price. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't know if this has already been posted, but there's a great manga out that deals with the problems of the medical industry called Team Medical Dragon. For english speakers I think you can only get it "Scanlated" but I think it's worth the download if you don't have qualms about that sort of thing and have an interest in the types of things that go on. The story is obvioulsy dramatized but still deals with real matters in field. Complete with hotblooded male doctor. ( View formatted comment » )

I've always wondered this too. GAToys wallpapers are always tiny too. Maybe since Japanese have smaller living spaces they generally have smaller monitors? That would be my guess, but I have no clue whatsoever. ( View formatted comment » )

Did anyone else notice the western otaku who lives in Li's apartment building? I think he was in the first episode, or one of the beginning episodes where he's actually at his apartment. He's wearing an anime shirt and has headphones on! I thought it was funny that he was in there - is that how the Japanese see western otaku? Wouldn't be too far off.... hahaha ( View formatted comment » )

My "powder room" on the ground floor is smaller than that. Granted it's a powder room so there is no bath but when you sit down on the toilet your knees have nowhere to go. You can use the sink as an armrest or a grip for the leverage if you need to show it who's boss. ( View formatted comment » )

What is an unwanted figure? I don't know that term. I love all my figures - can't say I'm tired of any of them. I usually don't buy just on a whim though, I stick to character designs I am really into. ( View formatted comment » )
