Yeah, apparently in this live action ver, Zeon wins the war, Char is a midget, and Amuro is actually a space cow. ;-) ( View formatted comment » )

I guess this trooper couldn't use Jedi Mind Tricks. What did those Stickam people want with you? And Billy Dee Williams at the end of that first clip is hilarious. ( View formatted comment » )

I've actually been karting quite a few times, though not at a place as big as yours. Best advice I can give you is to not step on the gas in a turn until you know you don't have to take your foot off, and its better to go in a turn slow then leave it fast, than to go into a turn fast and leave it dead. It can be quite expensive though. I'm actually part of my University's team, where we're making a hyrodgen fuel cell kart (looking for sponsors coughcoughcough ;-) .) As for wearing a trooper helmet while racing, I ... ( View formatted comment » )

With the exception of G Saviour (Which I refuse to watch), I've seen every Gundam so far, well 00 is airing right now. I first started out with Gundam Wing, and in retrospect, the story sucked pretty hard, though it had some awesome suit designs and was fun watching when I was 12 for the explosions. To everyone ragging on Turn A, give it another chance. Ignore the mecha design's if you have to, but its great in all aspects (Suit designs grew on me a lot, and Turn A is one of my favorite suits now). Animation quality is extremely ... Good Smile is pretty awesome for that figure deal. One of my friends actually has an electronic drum set similar to the one in your picture. Got it solely to play the PS2 version of Drummania, as the regular controller is rather... bad. I'd love to work for you, but while I know my way around a computer, I'm no programmer or anything fancy like that. If you ever need someone with a (future) degree in math/economics, let me know. Hopefully I'll graduate this June. As for gaming, I stuck with free MMORPGs in my college day... ( View formatted comment » )

I don't think there's anything like this in Los Angeles. I definately wouldn't mind if they put up 1:1 statues of Sonsaku, I'd be eating lunch there every day. ( View formatted comment » )

@FatBastard That actually sounds like part of my life in elementary school. Addendum @Anyone interested I think the bullying problem in America is compounded by the fact that the country has gotten really politically correct as of late, to the point of Zero-tolerance policies (ie. If you're in a fight, even defending yourself, you get suspended/expelled). The problem with these zero-tolerance policies is that usually its the kids who don't care about getting expelled who do the bullying, and the kids that care that do care, so t... I totally understand where you're coming from, Danny. For me, even though I lived in a predominantly Chinese area in Canada, I was the new kid that moved in, and I was small. Didn't help to have a last name that sounded like slang for prostitute. My family moved to California, and I still received some bullying cause I was still completely socially inept. Then I grew tall and fought back. Haven't received any problems since 8th grade. Now in college, I'm trying to make up for lost time, but I guess I should be studyin... ( View formatted comment » )

Wow, thats pretty steep, but I guess thats to be expected in Tokyo. The apartments that are really close to UCLA, for the most part, are expensive and relatively crap quality for the price. I'd say the average is $2400 for a 2bed 1bath, kitchen and dining. There are more expensive places that look a bit better. Finding parking is also a horrible issue around here. Hopefully I'll have enough money to buy my own house in Tokyo one day. Yours looks really nice btw. ( View formatted comment » )

Hmm, I'll try anything once. Hopefully more with Fugu, though once may permanently be the case. ( View formatted comment » )

Ehh, doesn't exactly look too good if you ask me. I'd prefer something from here though. http://www.animecenter.jp/jp/200711/27154822.php which coincidentally, Danny, you should check out if you have the time. Cliff notes: giant Paper Moon exhibit in Tokyo, 1/1 scale anime dolls. Also, the article which I found that link referenced your article a few days ago about 2D-3D. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-11-29/tokyo-anime-center-to-hold-life-size-figure-party ( View formatted comment » )

Well, at the apartments near my school, when people move out they tend to throw out their furniture too, so couches, mattresses, lamps, the like. They also advertise on Facebook if anyone wants their stuff. Nothing like flatscreens though, saw a few ads on Facebook for people selling like 20inch tv's, so don't think they'd give away a flatscreen. I mean, TV's I might be naughty enough to pick up, but Sofas? You don't know what people have done on those... ( View formatted comment » )

Great additions to your dancing repertoire. Try adding some moonwalk in there. I'd suggest break dancing, but I think it'd be hard to do in armor, and there's the whole issue of breaking your neck. ( View formatted comment » )

You need to put an option for both. He probably was a sexist, but hell, with a uniform like that I'm not going to complain. ( View formatted comment » )

I'd rather much see more MG's from older series. But I suppose the newer stuff is what makes Bandai money. MG Turn A was a godsend for me, waiting for MG's from Gundam X and V Gundam hopefully. Maybe even a MG Turn X? ( View formatted comment » )

Christ man, that's not cool. I thought you were going down for good, and I was thinking about what would cause this. Seriously, it would suck if you had to take your page down. ( View formatted comment » )
