I purchased from HLJ.com before and have always been happy with their service.
Nowadays I do use EMS shipping. While alas quite expensive it at least arrives in a timely fashion. One of my earliest orders that was sent with SAL shipping took 4 months to arrive. Less convenient with HLJ.com is that I often get fined with a customs fee.

Since they became mainstream and affordable, I switched and now use widescreen only. I have a 24 inch Samsung 245Bw at 1920x1200 and a 19 inch Samsung 940Bw at 1440x900.
Never had any issues with 4:3 aspect ratio, especially for gaming it was nice, but 16:10 is terrific too as you can have more information onscreen. ( View formatted comment » )

Nice review! I bought this Mina figure from Good Smile Company a few months ago at a convention for a nice price. I'd always fancied it and couldn't resist getting it this time.
Not only is it a very big figure, it really is absolutely gorgeous with a great sculpt and awesome paint work. I understand and can relate why it's a favorite, it certainly is one of my favorites too!

Well granted that chidlren need to be protected from those with ill intentions. But willl that be accomplished by artbitrarily branding that many people as near pedophiles for liking a certain media genre? I doubt it.

I don't hide any of my figures, DVD, manga or image folders. My hobbies and passion are not an embarrassement to me, I believe and act like they're perfectly normal for me. It's a lovely figure, looks like a great sculpt, terrific paint job with an amazing level of detail. In that sense I'd love to be able to own such a great figure.

I have not met that many haters irl, on the Internet there seem to be tons more, and their numbers have grown this past decade such that at times it seems the Internet is a haven for haters and people just seeking to insult or harm others, very sad.
