Yeah, dyed my hair once. I have dark brown hair and wanted black with a blueish shine in it, but it didn't work. Somehow my hair resists hair dye... O_o So I'll leave it brown because I like my hair color very much now! ^^ In Germany, all movies are dubbed. As there is one of the world's biggest US bases near my place, there is also a cinema where you can see all movies in English - without subtitles, of course. XD ( View formatted comment » )

Soon, I'll have a diploma in computer science and I'll go for a PhD, because research in my current field (artificial intelligence) is fun and the results are very fascinating. ^^ I have no serious plans to work in Japan, but if a Japanese company wants to hire me without burning me out, I'll go to Japan. :3 ( View formatted comment » )

Whoa, that brought back memories... about 12 or 13 years, Anime began to fascinate me. In this time, I watched Sailormoon, Ranma and Blue Water (Fushigi no Umi no Nadia) in German TV and of course Kimagure Orange Road in French TV. ^^ My first manga were Appleseed and Orion and I recall that Akira was, I believe, the first anime that hit German cinemas a few years later. I was at TAF two years ago, and it was great! :D Thought that I'd see cosplayers, but I could't spot any. Was it forbidden to cosplay or have I searched in the wrong places? XD Anyway, we have some big cons here in Germany and I plan to go to Connichi this year. I think it all depends on how the situation in your countries are. Unfortunately Germany gets more and more expensive these days... Normally, part time jobs around here are offered with hourly wages of between 3,50€ and 5€. However, if you earn less than a certain amount per month, you get financial aid from the government.
