Where do you get it? Via ebay or other auctions? It's sold out half a year ago soon after release and I don't know where to find one for a good/cheap price. Haven't seen a sign of restock yet either. Help appreciated. ( View formatted comment » )

Nice pictures and Kaiserwetter (basically sunny weather) there Danny. I went to Duesseldorf few years ago but the weather wasn't so great for the entire trip! No great outdoor photos as a result... ( View formatted comment » )

Interesting; I have a 1:144 HG pair in my sister's room (she wanted me to build Akatsuki for her but for some reason she didn't like the 1:100 one). It might sound odd, but sometimes when I do poses I would imagine how I would act or behave if I were in that situation, and reflect it on the gunpla itself. This way it may seem more convincing when you look at it... Perhaps. ( View formatted comment » )

Good to see that there's Kaiserwetter in Germany. I had a nice time in Dusseldorf few years ago (though there was Schietwetter instead). May go back to Germany sometime in the future. Hope you have a nice time in Germany, and meanwhile enjoy the Kaiserwetter over there. ( View formatted comment » )

Not bad at all especially for a 1:144 HG. Somehow it reminds me of Zeta Gundam White Unicorn custom (i.e. Amuro Ray) if it were to have more mauve colour on it. ( View formatted comment » )

So it is Ochanomizu Station (御茶ノ水駅)? No wonder the little arc(s) looks familiar. Are they there for artistic purposes? ( View formatted comment » )

This has been a bit more one-sided than I've expected, but not necessarily in a bad way I guess. For me it's hard to say whether I prefer Western or Eastern games; both have their own styles. The Japanese tend produce RPGs, actions games, and other unusual ones such as Katamari Damacy. The West have predominated the FPS and RTS market, while they produce RPG and sports games as well. Both sides have genres that they tend to excel at. I enjoy Japanese games such as Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou vs ZAFT II, FFVII, and others feature... ( View formatted comment » )

I have heard of one actually. A bird got sucked into the engine of an old Chinese fighter, causing engine failure. The pilot could have bailed out, but realising that it could have crashd into a village if not controlled, he avoided crashing at the village at the cost of his life. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm not sure whether it's the same boy, but I recall someone like him doing some somersaults in a TV program called Utaban with Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamashita Tomohisa as Shuuji and Akira. He was wearing the schoolbag that time too. ( View formatted comment » )

lol my sister wasn't too happy when I told her that her favourite onsen hideaway has been 'promoted' here. She knows of this place via a TV-show where KATTUN dates with a model called Megumi. ( View formatted comment » )

So what I've read about the ban on katanas and other Japanese swords from Yahoo news is indeed true. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/pressass/20080406/tuk-samurai-sword-ban-comes-into-force-6323e80.html It's interesting how these incidents of people getting attacked by such weapons are usually by the minorities of the community, yet they have made such an impact that the society has to take a larger-than-expected reaction to deal with it. First of all, it is important to know that it is impolite to use mobile phones in public transportations, especially in older people's point of view (it was one of the very few things that kept my sister from the idea of living in Japan): http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070321202720AAe3nvh A lot of people said they would stand up for this kind of thing, but would you really walk the walk when such thing happened all of a sudden? People wouldn't help them but instead would observe or ignore the situation, because they ... ( View formatted comment » )

Arcades in Hong Kong are still popular. Among the favourites are Gundam Seed Destiny Rengou vs ZAFT II and Taiko no Tatsujin. They are usually CHEAPER than those in Japan. Taiko no Tatsujin in Japan generally costs 100~200 Yen to play for 2 songs, whereas in Hong Kong it costs 4~5 HK Dollars (less than 100 Yen) to play 2 or 3 songs. Apparently the Gundam vs Gundam arcades are out in Hong Kong now, but I've yet to find them. Heard it's not as good as the predecessors though. ( View formatted comment » )

I too want to find a good one that fits my taste, but haven't seen one that has forfilled my wishes yet (though Max Factory one is really close to it but it's sold out really quickly and it's expensive). I want a Shana that is cold-looking and even possibly threatening, like before she met Yuuji (i.e. the tsuntsun part of a tsundere). Flame-haze hair can look really nice if they can match the quality like in the anime (with flecks of flame dropping around her), otherwise black hair one is good too. ( View formatted comment » )

Read it on newspaper last week. Can't remember the details, but there was no mention of her being obese. She was reported to be very weak, especially her legs (as she hasn't used them for a very long time), but she could still walk before being taken onto the ambulance. ( View formatted comment » )

Danny this is quite a controversial post you've posted this time. One that cannot be taken lightly. By reading the comments from other readers, I have to say most people here do seem to have a relatively good life and do not hear much about suicides around your city or your area. It takes a lot of understanding to know why peole have decided to choose death over life. Despite we outsiders often think how great Japan is with the entertainment and life it has, its bad side is often overlooked and unknown to us unless you look deeper in...
