I'd also try and see if there are any anime conventions around the area. They usually have big vendors there, that sell a lot of imported goods.

I bought a Figure of Haruhi at Anime Boston(the anime convention closest to were I live), it was ether that or this other figure of Haruhi witch cost a little bit more(like 30 bucks more).
