Widescreens are love. Not only do I watch a lot of movies and love that it's close to the original aspect ratio, but I find it more aesthetically pleasing as well. And easier to manage multiple windows on. And and and. :) The only thing I find irritating is trying to find good wallpapers big enough for the sucker that I actually like. I haven't had that happen for figures yet, but it has happened to me with movies. It's pretty weird to be wanting a DVD version of a show you had on VHS as a kid (and has long since croaked), and to look for it for years, only to find it for 14 USD at your local Costco one day. Actually, the only 3-D policy was instituted under Michael Eisner, but as soon as he was gone and John Lasseter came into play, the 2-D department was revived. The next 2-D Disney movie is supposed to be released sometime next year, or was last I heard. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't have any haters currently in my life, though I had plenty in elementary school and a few in middle school. The ones in elementary school were definitely the "don't understand" type. I think they were baffled that someone could be perfectly happy playing pretend on the edge of the playground rather than playing soccer or tetherball, and yet who also didn't hang out with most of the other girls on the monkey bars doing wanna-be gymnastics.
