As an undergrad and part time developer, YES I use the extension cable. In fact, I use only that cable! The short brick only is great, but the cable just isn't long enough to reach most power sources I'm forced to use. Unless the power is on the table or table height wall right next to the table, it's useless to me to have the brick without the cable. Another nice thing about the cable is that most power sources I use are filled, and those bricks tend to take up more plug space than they need to. Part of that is because I have th... This is rough because I'm a huge fan of making my machine smaller so I can take it more places. However, the Air would have to be a secondary computer, and that's not currently the way I use my MBP. As a Kentucky resident, I'll say that KFC isn't the best chicken out there, but a person could do worse trying to get fast food here. I drive past the KFC mansion everyday since I work nearby. It's the Yum headquarters now so there's nothing interesting there for tourism. However, I've always heard that going to the original restaurant is a fun experience. ( View formatted comment » )

I once was a member of a three to four (depending on who we liked at the time) member team of computer hardware reviewers for a site called 2fastcpu that is now long since dead. We too had the same issues with companies expecting glowing reviews. In fact, it's such a problem in the tech area that even free stuff is often expected to get glowing reviews when we specifically take the stance that we are going to provide a truthful and non-biased opinion on the product. In the end, a lot of companies just expect bloggers to be tools for adv... ( View formatted comment » )
