Bad, bad boy! Danny has been a naughty boy and needs a time-out in the corner. On second thought, forget that, we need you out there posting stuff ^^. ( View formatted comment » )

People who do stuff like this really have issues. They're just using you to get rid of their own insecurity by lording over you and putting you down. It's hard to not care, 'cause how society perceives you is important, on some level or the other. I guess that all's well as long as you have someone who supports you (Cue: You're a lucky man Danny ^^;). ( View formatted comment » )

Infrastructure is really, really bad here... Almost all our roads are pot-holed and patched up badly, and our pavements have grass (and vague weeds) sprouting here and there. Wrt run-down places, Mumbai (Not where I live ^^) has the largest slum in Asia, namely Dharavi. Need I say more? I see people with a much lower standard of living everyday and can only bow my head in shame, for not being able to do anything to change their lives permanently, and for being comfortable when they are not. That's really really amazing Danny... The fact you've had a rough childhood, but you've held on throughout, and at the end of the day, you're a balanced human being who's perfectly comfortable with where he is and what he's doing. Seriously, you're an inspiration. Believe me when I say that. If you do ever get the time and/or inclination, I would really like to know what makes you tick. I mean, I read about what you do, and what your attitude to the things around you is, and it's all so different... I ... ( View formatted comment » )

Hmm... My branch, Biotechnology, kinda needs me to do a PhD, if you know what I mean ^^. My seniors at college told me that guys in my field just aren't respected enough unless they do a PhD, 'cause that's the time they really specialize. From what I've read, Japan is world number 2 in the Biotech industry, and I really feel that the little Japanese I've gleaned from anime has got me all geared up to learn loads more. The only issues I have, with living and working in Japan, are the long (interminably long?) working hou... ( View formatted comment » )

Born in Australia, moved to India after one-and-a-half years so don't remember anything from that time or place :(. Went to my birth place 5 years ago, and I really loved it. I don't know about living there, there will be issues the eye can't see, but on the surface it was simply wonderful. ( View formatted comment » )

Wow... Those women look stunning. I don't normally let my jaw drop when I stare at women, but this is an exception (It's not like they'll find out anyway ^^). ( View formatted comment » )

One is that it's free and therefore anti-establishment. The second is that, according to all my friends who code, they have to irritate themselves no end to write code that works for IE, because what works for every other browser under the sun doesn't work for IE. Plus, IE is proprietary software, and hence can't be modified into an otaku friendly browser http://lolifox.com/) :D. ( View formatted comment » )

The place looks wonderful. I feel that, more than anything else, just being there would be enough for me. A nice climate and brilliant infrastructure is in very stark contrast to the place I live in. ( View formatted comment » )

I love scanlators! I can download the manga right here, and do it guilt free cause I know the publisher will never send it to India :). A brilliant book that I read a loong time ago is 'The Remains Of The Day' - By Kazuo Ishiguro. Was feeling a bit japanophilic at the time, so saw the name and picked it up. Plus, it didn't hurt that this one had won the Booker prize :). ( View formatted comment » )

Hmmm... I've been wondering about that for a while now. Not the genocide, but the concept of passing on our issues to our children. How right/wrong is it? ( View formatted comment » )

I dunno why people preferred season 1 to season 2... I thought season 2 made a good thing even better! I can't wait for season 3, I wish the release date was sooner. ( View formatted comment » )

It's really nice that you're not trying to hide the fact that you're making money (LOADSA) from your site, and on top of that are willing to provide figures and methods to obtain the same. My impression of you has leveled up! (Yes, the expression is corny and I hate it, but it works in anime) ( View formatted comment » )

It's so hot here right now that with just the fan running, in the morning when I wake up, I'm stuck to my bed :(. Need two baths a day to stay human. And yes, a very small minority of my country's population chooses to use deo. No small wonder then, we have ads that ask to you to lift your arms in public transport to get more breathing space :D.
