I just take it as another one of those 'unique' cultures of Japan. I suppose people can just leave it as it is if they feel that it's 'disgusting' or even 'offending' to them, but to justify their disapproval by linking it with crime isn't right at all. In my country, there were several cases of adults who killed their children before committing suicide because of family struggles. It's really sad and depressing, for bringing some innocent children to death when the problems are clearly not theirs. I don't support killing dolphins for food, mainly because they are endangered animals. If we continue to kill them, they will be extinct and our children and grandchildren can only see them in the museum. I don't discriminate between the lives of cows or chicken or dolphins. I believe there's an intrinsic value to the lives of every living thing in this world, no matter how small they are. But cows, chicken and other livestocks are not facing the danger of extinction. It's amazing to see that many of the male characters in anime are voiced by female Seiyuu in reality ^^ My favorite voice-actor is Nobuyuki Hiyama. He voiced for Shiro Amada in the 08th MS Team and Guy Shishio in Gaogaigar, both hot-blooded heroes; and then Director Azrael in SEED, the ultimate villain who made the audience hot-blooded instead ^^; ( View formatted comment » )

Same as BeLe, I don't mind if we are being treated with respect, and whole procedure won't waste too much time. I remembered once when my fingerprints were needed for some document at a government department, the officer was so rough it almost felt as if he was trying to snap off my finger >_< Luckily now they have the electronic thumb print device, but for black-and-white purposes, I really hope the attitude of the officers in my place will improve. Just watched the RAW version. Very nice indeed, not just the fighting sequences, but the overall quality of the animation. Looks like they blend CG and drawings better than SEED this time. But I wonder what's that Gundam Setsuna saw as a kid? ( View formatted comment » )
