Excellent. I was never able to go through the game as Final Fantasy 12 raised my rpg standards far above what this game was able to produce, but I always felt bad for not finishing it because I love the character design. ( View formatted comment » )

I was really disappointed with the movie because it was exactly the same as the series. I was really hoping they would have done something like Escaflowne where they totally redid the story for the movie and changed up the characters. I actually though the movie was better than the series. Too bad Eva didn't take the same approach. ( View formatted comment » )

The only problem with the A.C.E games is that the controls weren't very good for the macross planes. They worked great for mechs, but not for planes. I would rather they make it like the macross game for ps2. That game is awesome and I can only hope this will be like it. ( View formatted comment » )

Wow, I can't believe you bought those. I've seen them in the stores and they look hideous. Supergirl especially has a really weird head shape. You can actually see how weird it looks in the picture you took, look at her chin area. And I totally agree that American companies can't compare to the Japanese ones. Bargaining depends on the store. If its a small store you can always try and work something out the owner. Big chains won't bargain unless the employees work on commission, then you can always get them to lower the price. But nothing compares to an anime convention. I am a master at bargaining. I never pay full price for anything at conventions. Just 2 weeks ago at anime North I picked up $800 worth of stuff for $300. That is the power of bargaining. I also kept my Gabranth in the box, but that was purely because of the joints. I hate seeing figures with joints and never buy them, but I had to have Gabranth so I just kept him in the box. ( View formatted comment » )

These figures are not as good looking as they appear in the pictures. I've seen them in person and compared to the figures that are coming out of Japan, this is an inferior product. I'm surprised to hear that they're selling so well. My local comic store has so many that I figured they weren't doing very well at all. ( View formatted comment » )

A while back you had an article on a Wendy from GunXSword that had a shirt that stretched. Why can't they use that material to make the skin? If you get a ps3, just remember that the ps3 games are region free, but the ps2 games are still locked. So you would need a Japanese ps3 to play the Haruhi game, which means you wouldn't be able to play any ps2 games but Japanese ones. ( View formatted comment » )

The funny thing is that they actually sold more HD DVD players than Blu-Ray plyers, but since the ps3 comes with a Blu-Ray player in it, it meant that more households ended up with sony's format. . What I want now is a cheap burner so I can put 10 dvds worth of anime into 1 disk. It will things much more convenient. ( View formatted comment » )
