I've only been into anime for about 4 years now but it has pretty much changed my life. Ever since watching my first anime (The original GitS film) I have not only expanded my anime DVD, manga and figure collection to large quantities but I have also been to Japan (which was my first time abroad, first time eating Japanese food and first time flying).
I am currently in my first year of Japanese language study for beginners here in Plymouth.
I enjoy drawing and/or vectoring images for various 'chan boards, though I do have a bit of a thing for lasses with catears.

I find Strike Witches an entertaining show. It’s good to have a show that allows you to sit back and take your brains out for a bit. Don’t get me wrong, I like shows like GitS:SAC, but there are times when I want to see half naked girls flying around with mechanical legs, wielding WW2 weapons, fighting for King, Country and for the last potato on the plate. ^_^

I've got all 3 Horo figs that I've heard about pre-ordered, partly because there's not enough Kemonomimi figures out there (or should that be in my room :D) but mostly because I'm a huge Horo fanboy ^_^
They are all a bit off in the facial department unfortunately ( I think the KB version has the best face so far) but I'll wait until I have them in my hands before I pass final judgement on them ^_^ ( View formatted comment » )

Aye it does look a bit 0_o but if it's like the MMS Yoko figure then you should be able to 'plug' the holes with the given plastic stubs that you get with it. Also she should have stickers and whatnot to cover the joints on the elbows/knees and such.
I quickly grabbed a shot of my Yoko to show you what I mean. You can see that the screwholes are now less visable than the ones in that lass in the OP. The only holes left are for the stand, which I left in.

When I visited Japan I was lucky that my family told me they didn't want anything and to enjoy myself as it was my first time abroad.
I still got them various things I thought they'd like (small trinkets and such). Only my brother wanted something specific which was a Japanese football shirt and I had fun trying to find one in Kumamoto and Tokyo. English shirts, no problem. Other team shirts, sure.. Ahh, I received this lovely lass the other day. GSC has continued with their great quality on their figures however I'm just a bit miffed that she now has a dark line across her torso now as the paint rubbed off waaaay to easily.
