That is insane! Ugh, I totally would just go a couple hours earlier or later if at all remotely possible. I'm lucky enough to live somewhere where health care is free and don't have to worry about it, so I totally take advantage of it and get a physical every year. Despite only being 20, you never know what can happen and prevention is the best medicine there is imho! But I've never had that high-pitched sound test or poo test or barium, but then again I'm young so probably I don't need them. But I combine my physical with my girl-specific tests so it's still super unpleasant. X_X ( View formatted comment » )

I like her skirt, but I'm always amazed at how Japanese girls never wear shorts underneath their skirts unless they are doing cosplay/they are idols in concert costumes. I mean, you have to be on the lookout for the low-anglers at all time, and bending over in a super short miniskirt with just pantsu underneath is practically asking for a picture. I always found the pantsu obsession so weird... I guess as a girl I'll never understand it? That's definitely one of the things I'm worried about moving there, I think I'll just dry all my undergarments inside, that would hopefully solve that possibility of problem pretty easily! I love onsen! They are so relaxing and soothing, it's one of the top things I'm looking forward to doing regularly when I move to Japan. ^o^ Hm, disappointing you couldn't take pictures in the men's onsen... I'm sure the internet would think it great justice if I took pictures in the female side sometime, but that's never going to happen, I don't want to get arrested or something, haha! Argh, that is so annoying that they didn't even bother to factor in personality when asking, they just asked looks vs. money! For me, personality trumps everything, but if I was asked this question I would probably respond with the poor good-looking guy, as I just totally don't care about money at all so looks are a more important factor than money, but not the most important factor at all. Arcades have totally died out here. There are none left in my city besides there always being a very small one in every movie theatre. There are a few LAN cafes though that have a couple arcade machines too though. I really liked going to the arcades in Japan. I'm very much into the Bemani games, which means it's hard and expensive to get the accessories for myself (I just have a Dance Dance Revolution pad, that's all). Things like Pop N' Music, that taiko drumming game, Para Para Paradise, etc. are all so much more fun ... ( View formatted comment » )

I'm at about a 40%, with the eyes of a 60/80... I don't know, it does seem to kind of be a girl thing but I think 0% has the best body out of all of them. I do agree that -30/-20 are too thin in my opinion (jutting bones = not cool). I have noticed that guys generally don't like that 0% or less kind of category as much though?
