I just buy directly if I know there's one I want - my luck with Gashapon is terrible. I remember trying five, six times to get a particular one before giving up; my brother then went after me and got it first try. >< Ended up trading him all the ones I'd gotten for that single one. Your photo has him wrapped up like a mummy though - it really did resemble Shishio. ^^; This picture shows him with the top of his head exposed, so I guess he's getting better? ( View formatted comment » )

Are they falling from or being abducted by the UFOs? I can't tell, but if aliens are stealing our girls, we really need to do something about it. Bring in the army! ...Of course, if they're *dropping* them, I guess they're broadcasting a message of peace. Can't imagine it meaning anything else. ( View formatted comment » )

xD Sounds interesting, though a regular alarm clock would actually work better. Since it forces me to get out of bed and everything. And if I put my alarm clock within reach - well, then I couldn't be shooting at it in the first place. ( View formatted comment » )

That makes a whole lot of sense to me now that I think about it - and I think that pretty much sums up all those American/Japanese animation/cartoon debates. ^^; Good job. ( View formatted comment » )

...Can't really help regarding your decision, but I have Swap Magic for the PS2 and it works like a charm. Needed the little plastic hook thingee since I have the original bulky PS2 though. ( View formatted comment » )

...Dude, that's not needed here. Please. I'd rather not see DC get reduced to the level of some 90% of online communities out there. As for the matter at hand: he does sort of look like a Shishio lookalike. I just hope he had insurance or something, 'cause I'm pretty sure that temple was his livelihood. That's what I noticed, too. Which ones are those? Oh, and your room's transformation is absolutely awesome. Great makeover - wish I could do the same for my room, but the furniture's already as well arranged as it can get and I don't have the money to do anything more than that. >< ( View formatted comment » )

:P I think the problem is that if you're paying for something you can get off the 'Net for free, you're trying to support the production team as well as get a legitimate copy for the sake of it. If I just wanted to watch it, then I might as well download it for free instead of paying for a pirated copy, however little it may cost. Also, for the people who made the anime, DVD sales are a huge part of recouping the costs. I'm not going to act all self-righteous about this, 'cause I download anything and everything myse... I can understand where they're coming from - I like things in moderation too, so if I was surrounded by figures at work I'd want a break at home. Though given a choice, I'd rather it be the other way around. Figures at work would distract me. ^^; ( View formatted comment » )

Aria figures - there is a conspicuous lack of quality Aria figures out there. I'm not sure how much of an audience the series has, but most people who watch it become enamored and avid fans. Speaking for myself, I'd certainly buy 'em if someone made one. I'm not aware of any figures beside tiny gashapon-types, so any character in any pose would do. The exception would be an Alicia Florence figure made by Max Factory awhile ago - that one was really nice. What I don't get is why they stopped at just Alicia. I'd r... ( View formatted comment » )
