i dont think u can make the comparison, sure men go to ogle women in both instances but people actually take their families to Hooters (they have a kids menu). it's like the cheaper family friendly option when u want greasy food with slightly less sleaziness than a strip club. surviorman is far better http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivorman . bear sucks, he travels around with a camera crew and the whole point of the show seems to be watching him eat things alive or unsafe. he has horrible survival advice and it's downright dangerous for anyone to copy him even in survival situations. in the wild using your shirt to filter water = belly full of parasites. when i visited london 7 yrs ago, i thought the trains ran on time and stations really clean especially compared to new york. but i love the subways dirt and all, buses in manhattan run slow and always get caught in traffic while the outer boroughs are better i still get a bit car sick on long bus rides. the r4ds (and other products) allow u to play mp3s and video and do other questionable things on ur ds <_<, i dont know if nintendo can totally stop their sales. the souped up ds does sound nifty, tho the camera idea seems strange, and the price difference might not be too bad. i'm still using my original ds and never got a ds lite, if the launch of this also bring down the price of the ds lite i'd be more incline to upgrade a little. as a kid i always ate breakfast but when i got to high school i just couldnt bring myself to eat anything(or drink any milk) within 2-3 hrs after waking up, my stomach cant take it. nowadays i would always drink a cup of green tea before i leave the house in the mornings. i think when i see things like this and certain ghosts/horror movies, i get scared at the imagery and the thought of being in that position (or the idea of it being real) more than the actual thing itself. i guess it's like i'm scaring myself with the thought of it rather than it. if it were shown how it was done (the photos, movies i already know it's cg), with the 'mystery'taken out of it, the scare factor does go away. i can speak cantonese ok, can't really read or write chinese (maybe a kindergarden level of word recognition). when i was 5 i picked up mandarin easily during a long stay in beijin, but as soon as we left, it left me. my parents didn't invest in any chinese schooling for me, they wanted me to pick up english as fast as possible. when i was in high school i had to make a special effort to build a larger chinese vocabulary to communicate with my parents. i havent written anything in chinese for years, my handwritting has completely... burning of plastics is a stupid idea, it releases dioxins(which is an incredibly toxic substance) into the air and finds it's way into the water (and our food supply). co2 emmissionss have greatly affected the tempuratures on earth, all recorded data shows that in the past 100yrs we've totally veered off the path of naturally occuring climate changes. and particular matter in the form of air pollution is partially curbing the tempurature rise by reducing the amount of light getting thru the atmosphere, but that also changes the wa... i couldn't finish watching the anime(or even begin to watch, it starts out already 'over'). i'm sure it was a masterpiece but it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too depressing. the live action movies would hinge on the child actors, and i can't imagine a child actor that gifted to pull it off. not to mention the trauma to these poor kids, having to watch the anime or the finished movie.
