Actually I was talking about storyline usually associated with that rating (i.e. excessively explicit horror, gore, ero, mature and suggestive, etc...) but you do have a point... ( View formatted comment » )

I can only go up to Rated R (>Oo)> Anything after that is repetitive and ultimately boring. ( View formatted comment » )

Hmm...one of many responses come to mind: Rating G: Quickly turning my head away I apologize multiple times while climbing back down the drain and into the sewer. Rating PG: Startled, I smile nervously while looking down on the ground. "Ahhhhh...sorry Ma'am. I didn't mean to intrude," I say before heading back down to the sewer quietly. Rating PG-13: Brow raised a smirk creeps at the edges of my mouth. "It looks like you need some assistance there. May I lend you a hand?" Rating ... ( View formatted comment » )

Same, it would be nice to have an anime store like that nearby. The only one relatively close to my area only sells bootlegged and import anime DVDs, a ton of anime CDs, outdated magazines and "How-To-Draw" ...books, and old gundam model kits. I went there once...never went back. ( View formatted comment » )

I should have proofread that post. My old high school English teacher would need to smoke a few to get through all the grammatical errors I made. ( View formatted comment » )

He most likely omitted actual time for the sake of getting the point across that his grandfather in fact stopped, and that you can hold an addiction if you have a strong authentic desire to do so and go out and actually do it. It won't be easy, true, yet that's where willpower counts for the most. My own grandfather who smoked for years ended up quitting several months after I was born. It took him several months in total to kick the habit, not an overnight quickie, but he did it. It was out of the pleas from my mom, her sist... ( View formatted comment » )

It is a bit blown out of proportions yet rightfully so. While there are exceptions to the case, majority of smokers who don't stop end up developing cancer or respiratory problems and dying. Some individuals have the genetics to withstand an unhealthy life style. There's a case study of this Australian whose in his late 60s I believe who chain smokes and drinks beer like water, yet his body keeps itself in fairly peak shape...too such a point where he competed and won several marathons. Researchers are marveled at his body's tole... ( View formatted comment » )

It's an addiction, and for the most part a social activity and stress reliever. I've got friends and co-workers who smoke. They know it's bad, I've talked to them. I'm not one to lecture though because of all the information out there they know it's bad for the health. One of the reasons across the board that I've heard why they continue is that it relieves stress, and nicotine does in fact induce the release of "good-feeling" hormones into the body. When I'm majorly stressed ... ( View formatted comment » )

True...as gross as it is. Down here we had the same problem with homeless people doing their business. But it was mainly on the train platforms where all the people stand and wait for the line to come in. The underground stations are considerably nicer than outside. They setup more enforcers to watch for that since it started to hit news when people commuters complained about how when they reach their stop they have to watch their step. Apparently the Chewing Gum Law was revised in 2004, gum - only ones considered to be therapeutic - can only be sold by pharmacies who have to take down your personal information if you purchase. As well, proper disposal of the gum is a major issue... ( View formatted comment » )

It's been a while since I've last been to LA but they've also got a big problem with people peeing where they're not supposed to. The worst one I've seen was while at a restaurant and noticing a person across the street going on a wall....one reason why I prefer not to sit near a window while eating.... Red light and speed cameras took most of the work off cops around here. I don't mind them much since they do in fact make the streets safer. There's this one straightaway stretch of road near a school ... ( View formatted comment » )

I can't read the last word on the left-most, second row. "No eating and drinking in...where?" For the most part, those fines are understandable and usually part of law in many countries...public urination, littering, possession of drugs and/or potential HAZMATs, vandalism... The feeding animals fine is a bit much...but may be considered littering so I can see where they're coming from. Chewing gum is also too much. Jaywalking is technically illegal here, but considered so minor that it's barel... ( View formatted comment » )

I read that it occurs as a glitch when you just speed through the text and other things. I just kept hitting X and must have bypassed through some important scene. Next thing I know it wouldn't let me leave the town. I spent several hours trying to see if I needed to complete some mission or task, and looked up online what I needed to do. I read some submissions saying that if you skipped this one thing in the town it would glitch on you so...yea...a dead end. ( View formatted comment » )

I love Final Fantasy. FFX was my favorite. I bought X-2 but never finished it...I'm probably an hour or two away from completing it but it's been so long that I forgot how the gameplay worked out. I got stuck somewhere in IX...missed some cutscene or something and it wouldn't allow me to move on. Had a pretty sweet team too...now they can't get out of the dumb town... True. I was actually going more on the lineage aspect of things since I've heard quite a bit of support for Obama using that reasoning, which is factually incorrect. Pardon my specificity in that post, I should have stated that so readers won't get confused. Otherwise, you are correct in implying that it doesn't really make a difference as injustice and discrimination knows no bounds. ( View formatted comment » )

She's a 1/8th Completed by Alter, but size-wise comparable to a Figma is what he is saying. It's due to her pose I believe. Nice pictures of box, I heard it was nice. It reminds me of a little bit of Kos-Mos VerIV's setup. Anyways, this Rei figure looks amazing. I saw Super Rat's review of her [ http://www.happysoda.com/archives/798 ] pretty good stuff. I might look into getting her though I'm not too fond of lying down poses... ... ( View formatted comment » )

Kos-Mos is a beauty. She looks better first hand. I got her last month for a nice price. Seen her sell on Ebay for a ridiculous amount multiple times. Figures can also double up as investments even with second releases. Alter's first Testarossa is impossible to find for a decent price these days. ( View formatted comment » )
