I went to London with my family in June this year. I enjoyed it a lot. I noticed while using the subway that many of the newer platforms had acrylic glass walls and automatic doors that only opened when the train came to a complete stop. There was no way to climb over the walls or get around them and the gap between the train and the walls was only a few inches, too small for someone to fit in between so jumping onto the tracks would be impossible. We have many different programs to help the homeless and the poor. This programs offer shower facilities and 3 meals a day. They even help you look for jobs and many are just supported by donations. I once volunteered at one for a few weekends with some friends and they told us that they'll help anyone who is in need, even if there not living on the streets. Unfortunately we have a lot of homeless or poor who still go around asking for money. The government and all of these programs stress that we should never give these people money since... I usually come home with a figure and show it to my sister and my mom. My mom then lets me know if she likes it or if she's going to toss it out with the garbage if she sees it on display in my room. In those cases I leave them in their boxes and put them in my closet. I know its sad but at least this way she won't throw them away. For her if its too revealing its not allowed to be shown and if its got plenty of clothing then its thumbs up, my dad just agrees with my mom on those sorts of things. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I never learned how to read the kanji characters! I took a semester of Japanese at school and I got good at it, especially at speaking and pronunciation. I was able to form my own sentences without any help from the book and without sounding like an American. Only problem is I have no one to practice with and we only learned how to read hiragana and katakana. Kanji was taught in the second semester and I haven't taken that class yet. For me as long as its not hentai or the abuse of little girls I don't care. I have a 10 year old sister so I'm really protective of her and her friends to the point that I get violent if I think someone is trying to harm her or her friends even when its other kids. My mom thinks some are cute and that the rest are too sexy. I'm going to be 21 october 7th and she still treats me like im 10 in some ways, at least she hasn't seen my small hentai and Gravure collection hidden inside one of my computer cases.
