me too, I'm otaku and not a virgin (although it did come late, I was 21 or so) but it's been quite some years since I was in a relationship, now at 26. Me wants a nice girl friend again... Oh well, let's watch some anime in the mean time ;p ( View formatted comment » )

Most of these hate-comments are mostly talking about one genre of anime. People are always so single-sided. I think there's so much more diversity in anime than in american cartoons. American cartoons are almost always directed to children while anime is not. (correct me if I'm wrong...) Anime has got horror stories, serious drama, any sport you can imagine, etc. Okay, there is a lot of violence, but also a lot of comedy. And don't tell me that american movies or South Park don't have violence, kids watch that anyway. (I l... ( View formatted comment » )

Haven't had any problems with Sony actually. We've always had Sony tv's, each of them lasted 8 years, we're now at our 3rd Sony tv just recently. A nice 40inch flatscreen ^^; We don't actually have other Sony stuff though, mostly JVC which I'm also quite satified about. ( View formatted comment » )

I also saw some changes happening in Akiba on my last trip. They were doing some construction near the JR station. A big building was demolished on the main street (that had a Aso Bit City store in it). Now there are 2 big constructions on chuo dori. One of which has been going on for a long time, next to Yamagiwa (which is now a Sofmap store). I saw a few stores that closed down or changes owner since last year though. It's changing indeed, I hope it will still keep some of its charms, cause I liked it. ( View formatted comment » )

Reminds me of Saikano (Saishuuheiki Kanojo) a bit. With the wings and stuff sort of sticking out of her body. Reminds that I should finish that anime... The first 4 eps started off pretty sweet and dramatic. ( View formatted comment » )

I reboot it about once or twice a month and put it in sleep mode when I'm sleeping or in transit to/from work ;p I'm running window, and don't really have any trouble having it on so long. Just came back from ayumi hamasaki concert and tomorrow is my last day in Japan ;( which I'll be mostly spending in Akihabara ;p ( View formatted comment » )

Ms Wide Open should go to Kabukicho, she could earn some money there with her stunt. I don't really approve of the airsoft gun battles either. They may not bother people, but wait until a kid walks into one of there pellets with his eye... Journalists are going to be screaming, and we'd get body searches when you get off Akiba station... And IF they're going to ban cosplay, they should give a license for cosplay, that for example maids can still hand out their flyers, which is their bread to get people to come to their maid cafe... I think the trailer looked a bit corny, and the effects are like low-budget b-movie. You could really see in the beginning that the background of that world was a box when the camera turned. Zelda movie should be big budget, made by Peter Jackson or something ^^ And it should follow a storyline from one of the games like Ocarina of Time of Legend to the Past, that would be awesome ;p But this was a bit lame, it was a really bad choice for Link... Was walking through Ueno Park the day before yesterday and it was full of people indeed. Didn't remember the name but I know it's a yearly tradition. I just walked through the park and took some pictures of it. Moved to other hotel is Osaka, and going to Kyoto today, I'm sure there will still be some sakura in bloom there. Will make some lovely pictures. ( View formatted comment » )

Looks empty indeed compared to the huge crowd of people on public days. IF I ever get the chance to go again, I'm bringing 2 business cards ;p Oh, you got only 2 yoko-neechans, on the public days there were 3 yoko-chan's. :D The only thing is that there is (again) a crowd of people in front of them so difficult to take a good picture. Seems like I sure missed some stuff... ( View formatted comment » )

I got the same load of bags and flyers ;p Just missed one bag though, that I wanted. There are two with Gurren Lagann on it, one with the whole group, and one with just the main character. Missed that last one ;( And no, they weren't handing out drinks, not that I've seen. I think they would be out of drinks very quickly with all those people. I now have only one problem, getting these bags into my suitcase, cause there's this one bag from Soul Eater that is bigger than the others. It will be a puzzle... (with all the other ...
