Danny, I have to know what settings you're using on your camera. I'll be in Tokyo Oct 1st through 11th and I want to get great pictures like this. I have an Digital Rebel XT and just picked up the Signma 18-200mm lens on your recommendation.

My feelings pretty much echo thedegeneric's. I like the figure coverage, though I don't spend thousands of dollars a year on them, but I prefer the Japan coverage. I skim the member news and read articles that grab my attention, but I read all the Danny posts. ( View formatted comment » )
Tako Yaki, Tako Yaki. I tried Tako Yaki from a place on Chuo Dori in Akihabara the last time I was in Tokyo. I thought the Octopus Balls themselves weren't too bad but the guy piled on some kind of dried fish flakes on them as he was handing them to me. I was...not a fan.
I'll be in Tokyo in early October and I think I'll give them another try, minus the fish flakes. What are those flakes called anyway? ( View formatted comment » )
