Doesn't anyone use 1024*768 anymore? All my friends have 1024*768 as well. I've wanted an upgrade for years now, and my other computer upgraded from CRT to 1600*1200. I wish I could swap monitors with that one :( ( View formatted comment » )

haha most of the comments weren't about news hijacking yeah that's ok for me, but it might be better just to repost the news item instead of hijacking. ( View formatted comment » )

Well it does require intelligence to put stuff together. I think 50% of the population won't be able to do it properly. ( View formatted comment » )

There is no "Sony timer" in a physical sense. The statistics people at Sony are just really good at modeling hardware failure rates. None of my Sony stuff has failed, but I don't use them very much. ( View formatted comment » )

From word of mouth (could be false), we aren't allowed to carry a blade longer than 6 inches. Also I found this: "Ownership of Swords and Edged Weapons in Australia In Victoria, prior to purchasing a sword or edged weapon, you are required to hold a Chief Commissioner's Approval for Prohibited Weapons. This Licence currently costs around $165.00 (for 3 years) The alternative is to become a member of a knife/sword club such as the AKC(Australian Knife Club), for $25 per year, which will allow you to buy a sword in Victor... Hayate is awesome!!! Though in the anime it said they were up to the "fourth" season already. I guess they counted by 13 episode seasons. Well people have different tastes but Hayate is my favourite anime for last year after the KyoAni ones ( View formatted comment » )

oh it's chasers... This is how something can be blown out of context. Before i knew it was chasers I was agreeing with the comments that it is racist etc. However these guys do not mean anything toward the Japanese. Instead they are parodying how silly it is to do something like what they are doing. ( View formatted comment » )

No. The lightbox is very annoying because i have to switch to some other website or task while waiting for the image to load. My new windows open in new tabs so if the image opens in a new tab i can go on browsing the site while waiting for the image to load. ( View formatted comment » )

lol "ham"burgers with... beef? It might just be me but their burgers are a lot smaller than when I was little. Either I got bigger or they want people to lose some weight. It's ok once in a while, but there's better food out there. ( View formatted comment » )

Here everyone is limited. I get 10GB a month, but I'm waiting for ADSL2+ to be built so I can get 40GB + 110GB off peak (1am-7am). So it's the same as Japan except Japan is limiting people to maybe 10,000 GB instead of 10GB. I used Winny a few years ago but I couldn't find much on it. It could be that I wasn't connected long enough to connect to lots of people. I use bittorrent, then IRC. ( View formatted comment » )
