I think those stopper-thing are meant for adding weight... You see, trading figures are sealed inside boxes so that the only way that you'd know which one is in a particular box is to open up the seal after you've paid for it... And if you happened to get duplicates, you can trading them with someone else, hence the name 'trading figures'... However, as some figures may be lighter or heavier than the others, mostly due to the design eg. long-hair's usually heavier than short-hair or armor's usually heavier than s... Me second~ I thought I was the only one who felt that way... To me, although sculpted by the same sculpter, MF's previous version of Mikuru is so, so much better, in terms of both resemblance and details... I still like MF's previous release of Mikuru... This one, though comes with a smiling face, doesn't really looks like Mikuru to me... And I don't like the idea of having repeated characters in my figure collection unless it's the case with gashapons or trading figures.. The only reason I'm still considering this one is because that it can be paired up with Tsuruya-san... Personally, I would much rather MF releasing Kyon's sis instead... ( View formatted comment » )

I'm still reading Book 3 of the series... I started reading the books on the net (in chinese) after finishing the first season The scenes, the facial expressions and even the voices of the characters from the anime kept coming back to me as I read, which was actually a lot more fun than just staring at the words... I don't celebrate Christmas but would really love too... Not the party style though... I hate seeing all the wild parties on the streets... (On the street! Literally!) Just a quite family dinner or a simple gathering with friends would be nice... Sitting by the fire place, watching the first snow of Christmas... But that's just a dream... You'd have to be crazy to actually have a functioning fire place in your home in Malaysia... (Unless you live up the mountains or just have it built as part of the interior design...) ... Ah, the ever-so-cute Binchotan... I just received mine today... Don't think that it looks plastic but rather clay... Paper clay, maybe... Perhaps that's why the series is called Nendoroid? The proportions look better than in the anime to me but the joints are quite loose... And the ends of her pink sash just won't go flat on to the surface when she's in the sitting pose... I prefer MF version... Too bad that it's not of the same scale as the Kotobukiya's others Shining Wind figures... Or maybe MF will have it's own series? This one is not bad too... It doesn't look bad to me... But I do hope that there's a reason behind the 'hair' design... When it was first revealed, I was thinking like 'could this be the first female Gundam?' But then I remembered seeing one or two in the G Gundam... (Correct me if I'm wrong...) And also the Star Sailor Gundam MOD did by don't-know-who...
