Just when I was ready to splurge some moneys on a figma Saber, I'm glad I saw this first. Was gonna buy Fate Unlimited/Codes anyway. 10,000 yen? No problem, I think I can make due with just 1 kidney anyway. >:D ( View formatted comment » )

So many figma figures! It's kinda of strange to me that they chose to make the guy from Code Geass, next to Haruhi and fate/stay night figmas it just seems odd. Everyone needs more SAS in their life lol. ( View formatted comment » )

It depends on who's on the subway here for smell, sometimes you get on and an unfortunate homeless person is also there with you and well...they aren't nearly as clean as they are in Japan. :( ( View formatted comment » )

Eastern games. I do play Call of Duty 4 and things like that, but the majority of fighting games such as Street Fighter are from Japan. On top of that Final Fantasy...and definitely Monster Hunter series. Can't live without Monster Hunter. Bought a PSP for it. Buying a Wii for it. Yeah, I'm addicted to Monster Hunter... Oh sweet, I have most of series one of these except for Yukiho ( ;_;). They came in two variant colors, black or silver and they're very well done...like miniature 1/8th figures (quality wise I mean). They cost quite a bit to purchase, don't think my wallet has the strength to withstand another barrage of these. ( View formatted comment » )

I was just in an arcade in Chinatown yesterday, playing Arcana Heart Full till my brain exploded. There are home versions but I just like the feel of standing there with the control stick and all the loud loud noise. When I was little arcades were everywhere, now this is the only refuge for fighting games that I've found. Dave and Busters is a restaurant that has games like this too, but only racing and shooting, sorta like a grown-up's version of Chuckie Cheese's. It's alright but much too expensive at times to go to (e... ( View formatted comment » )

This is a great idea. Treat it as though it were a TV broadcast, watch it and if you like it buy it. Don't waste HDD space on stuff you don't like and you get the show almost as fast as the real broadcast. Nothing to lose by trying it out really. ( View formatted comment » )

Broke my arm once falling off a sea-saw when I was 8. Then while rollerblading I missed a rail pretty bad and landed on my tailbone. Couldn't walk for a couple of days there, my god did that hurt. ( View formatted comment » )

Wow that was some tour, it's interesting to see the company look so normal. Somehow I half expected something as spectacular as the Bandai Gunpla factory lol. Guess I'm thinking too grand of a scale huh? I kinda chuckled when they used the figma Nagato to present the Hatsune Miku hehe. ( View formatted comment » )

Though I'm not a fan of it, the Naruto game on XBox 360 I have heard is very much worth playing. Even the US version has downloadable Japanese voice overs for the dub-wary. That upcoming Dragonball Burst Limit also looks very good (though about 10 years too late for me as I got over that series :P). Yeah, the Gundam vs. games especially the Seed ones were very good as well. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't particularly like Exia, but his Exia is pretty awesome looking. The paint job is great too. ( View formatted comment » )

Like mentioned before, I also preordered Chua Churam because of the pose. Everything on that figurine is a perfect storm of money flying out of my wallet and I barely even know the character. Usually I only buy characters I like and if they're done well but lately I've been staying away from figures that just sort of stand there. The figma Rin is coming along great, glad I didn't order a Fraulein Rin. Maybe Max Factory will turn it into an absolute dog fight between companies by producing Idolm@ster ones as well? >:D ... I had left the library (yeah someone in the world still uses the thing) some one or two years ago when I noticed that they closed off the side street at the Empire State Building. It turned out someone had jumped and all the cops were basically "cleaning up"...and I had wanted to go into Jim Hanley's comic store too. I can't understand why someone would want to die so horrifically like that or jump under a train, life is not that hard is it? There's tons of crummy things but there's always bright spots that you ... ( View formatted comment » )

I actually prefer this Astrea to Exia, the whole sword thing sounds cool but that big switch blade on the arm just makes it seem much too top heavy. The HG Astrea seems to be priced higher than other HG 1/100 kits, I'm guessing it's because of that rumored price hike on the gunpla in general? Well price hike or not, if they makes a 1/100 Flag Graham Custom...I'm there! :D ( View formatted comment » )

I'm somewhere in the middle as well. While I like non-articulate figures, I also like pose -able figures so long as the articulation is done well. The figmas are very well done in this respect. ( View formatted comment » )

Yeah, Rin is looking awesome. I don't normally like these small poseable figures but I'd be willing to buy one of those. It can do battle with me gunpla! ( View formatted comment » )

lol if only they had his trademark "Shwaaa!!" to go with that fall. Hope he doesn't fight too many tailed monsters after this one, he might have some trouble keeping his balance. ( View formatted comment » )

So senseless, you just never know what the other person down the street is thinking sometimes. I'd put out the question of what would cause a person to wanna do that to an old lady but it's just not something you can explain in a sentence nor want to understand. Lately with all the anime episode cancellations due to similar circumstances in real life, it seems the crazies have hit some of the common Japanese folk. @_@; It's probably not anymore crazier than any other country out there though. Quite simply they make all my favorite stuff from Monster Hunter series to Gunpla. About the only thing they don't have over in Japan that I'm obsessive about is NBA Basketball. Growing up with Dr. Slump, Dragonball, Godzilla, Kamen Rider, Ultraman and a Nintendo probably has everything to do with the interest I have in the nation. ( View formatted comment » )

That would make me day so much if they dids that, even with the increasing gunpla prices I would buys it nows. Speaking of stuffs to buy, there hasn't been all that much Zero things (I missed the Alter Louise ;_;). I kind of figured Zero was more popular than that, but I guess not. I'm totally rooting for the anti-Gundam teams, especially Graham and Sergei's groups. I know it's not possible for the main characters to be defeated but I would have enjoyed a show just based on MSWAD Over Flag squadron. >:D ( View formatted comment » )
