A little about me... Im 20 years old, and four years ago my main hobby was gaming, since then ive developed a great interest in Japan (went last year and going back ASAP) and its culture which lead to me getting into anime, figures and pretty much turning into an Otaku. Apart from being a computer, sound and vision enthusiast, one of my fave things has to be Final Fantasy, everything to do with it, so of course apart from collecting anime things, I love to get my hands on Final Fantasy merchandise.

When in Japan, me and my friend tried out quite a few arcades, mainly just to see what games we would never get in ours back home. The ones here suck monkey balls, just slot machines, and the odd, badly calibrated, gun machine. ( View formatted comment » )

Really liked her voice as Haruhi, and specially her singing voice. Had no idea she was so cute in reality though. Have to agree with you Danny, very nice pic of her that one, digging the brown hair. ( View formatted comment » )

lol, familiar sight, always made me laugh when on the trains seeing people asleep for an entire journey, then like magic, waking up right when its their stop. ( View formatted comment » )

Since Chip and Pin came around in the UK i hardly ever have money on me, usually just have enough for transport for the week. On the other hand, when i was in the cash society that is Japan, i accumulated loads of change, more than i knew what to do with, think i just left it in the hotel room... I generally put them in my cupboard and hope that they will magically disappear. They do though, never do... ( View formatted comment » )

I would be a gentleman, when i was in Japan, i had a few chance to sneak a peak as it were, but didnt. Guess i just think that i wouldnt like it if people did that to me... of course i would have to be in bloody dodgy area of town if people were actually trying to do that to me! *__* ( View formatted comment » )

Wow, had no idea about the original design, been aware of the site and thus, the layout, since 2004. Was fun reading about just how much the site has changed. Wonder what it will look like in another 4 years ^__^ ( View formatted comment » )

Definitely prefer not to know my future. And I am very skeptical about fortune tellers, specially ones that charge 1000yen+ (but i dunno, maybe thats the going rate these days), if they can predict the future, why cant they tell me next weeks lottery numbers. I think its more a case of the person they're reading giving them answers to work with without knowing, than the fortune teller actually predicting the future. ( View formatted comment » )

Ugly or cute, obstructing the doors or not... there really wasn't any need to open up a can of whoop ass on the girl. If the girl had attempted to attack the guy then a kick away may have been justified... common sense obviously wasn't at all present that day. ( View formatted comment » )

Cutetwirler: lol, yeah, when me and a friend went to Japan, the only thing that we couldnt get used to were the hard pillows. Bit of a shock when after 12-14 hours travelling, go to flop on the hotel bed and almost give yourself a concussion. ( View formatted comment » )

I sleep on a futon, not in the traditional sense, its a western style, so its more like a sofa bed, but with a futon. Been the most comfortable thing ive slept on, been using it for the last couple of years. ( View formatted comment » )

Yeah, i listen to J-Pop/Rock. Been listening to Japanese music longer than ive been watching Anime tbh, then again, my interest in anime developed from my interest in Japan, and not the other way around. Anyway, lately ive been enjoying ELLEGARDEN's and Younha's [Korean debut] lastest releases. And for where i get mine from, well... First started getting my music from Amazon Japan, but now i get most of it from HMV Japan. But yeah, big fan of the J-music scene. ^_^ ( View formatted comment » )
