yah im not a good photographer, i used my dads canon G9 which is a sweet camera. i wish i could afford a SLR. i wasnt really going for the "all in focus" shot anyways though. ( View formatted comment » )

the pistons do actually work, i bought the special edition of the kit so it comes in a chrome color. for some of the silver i painted i just used tamiya silver or gundam marker silver is pretty good too. thanks again! :) ( View formatted comment » )

never tried the markers but i have tried tamiya weathering kit which is just powder and u use a sponge tip to apply it. it works pretty good but not as natural as airbrushing it on ( View formatted comment » )

thanks, for the colored pieces i airbrushed black paint onto the edges first and then after it dried i painted the actually color onto the center of the pieces while trying to avoid the black edges. same thing for white except i used gray instead of black. ( View formatted comment » )

thanks for the comments everyone! i will post more pics soon with more dynamic poses haha :) my phone is nokia N95 8GB so the camera is pretty good. i used an air brush, no putty at all, in close up pics ull probably see some seam lines. i use tamiya water based paints and i usually just use gundam markers but for the red on exia i used an art pen but i dont remember what its called, something like micro...its made in japan and its a like beige color. im not artsy at all, u just need some practice and some spare cash laying ar...
