I used to play all night until I finished a game, nowadays I can hardly stand sessions longer than 4 hours. I don't know if it's the quality of games that has degraded, or my motivation. But I can't get around finishing games these days like I used to. I bought GTAIV, never got passed 50% simply because I couldn't get rid of this ''meh'' feeling throughout the game. Same thing happened to me with The Witcher, stuck at the beginning of chapter 4. I hope Fallout 3 and The Force Unleashed bring some chang... ( View formatted comment » )

Seen all of them, my favorite would probably be The clone wars. Yes, I like the first three movies. So? Everyone always cracks on about how terrible the first three are compared to the last 3. That might be true, but as a standalone trilogy, they're pretty good for their time. I mean, if you don't like it, then leave it be. Never was that much of a fan of animation films, but I suppose I'll have a look see when it comes out. The scenes look cool. The chrome storm trooper is awesome by the way! Yup, I have. Though I rip apart a lot, things with LCD screens I usually don't touch. Because those tiny screens are really sensitive to damage, static electricity or a screwdriver that accidentally slipped can cost you a handfull. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm getting an Iphone, eventually. Probably in a few months or so, at the moment they're pretty expensive and hard to get. So I'd rather wait till school starts, and then get one. Should be cheaper, and you don't have to overnight on the sidewalk ^^; ( View formatted comment » )

Hmhm, eerie indeed. Especially with the semi lighted sky at night, Dawn of the Dead anyone? =P Photography seems brilliant, a fulfilling hobby, and you get around aswell. ^^ I've been reading some FAQs about camera's and such, which to buy, etc. Though to be realistic, the scenery over here is pathetic so to get some nice shots I'd need to go abroad. I don't always like Zoos either, especially when you see the sad expressions on the animals. But not all Zoos are like that thankfully, there certainly are good ones, that help sustain the species. In captivity yes, but would you rather be in a free lounge, or extinct right? I don't really understand the need to jog, or run 5 miles, whenever I run, I never get that worked up. Hm, from reading those mails, I kind of understand, although not in the way he goes about it ^^. The second mail is just filled with the message ''I'm ronery'' Though, and aside from the language in the first one. I myself don't quite understand the fondness for the half naked figures either, I do like/have Gunpla, but when it come to figures of lets say, Asuka Rei, from NGE, I can't always relate to comments such as ''ohmygod I want that!!'' ^^; Nor do I have the same fondness as most ... Excellent article, really nice to get some inside information on working in Japan, and the way things roll over there. I've thought about living in Japan, but the thing is, I've never even been to Japan.. So It'd probably be a good idea to see what it's really like first. =P And beside that, I don't think I'll ever learn Japanese, aside from the small, irrelevant sentences you get from Anime and such, the language is just too different. Yes, it does play anything you throw at is, but poorly. As said before, the seekbar is crap, it corrupts the image whenever it has chance, and it ruins subtitles. Can't suggest anything for a MAC, I use the CCCP-codec pack.- ( View formatted comment » )

Well, suppose I should have my little anti laptop rant. The thing is, laptops are great, in theory, but in the real world(at least for me) they only dissapoint. They tend to overheat, breakdown, and are impossible to upgrade. I can't really find a reason to buy a 1500 euro laptop, when I can buy a faster desktop for way less. On a side note, a friend of mine wanted to buy a macbook air aswell, so we went down to the apple store, because I wanted to show him it's not physically possible to build a laptop that thin, without it overh...
