Arrgh...that 1/100 Nadleeh I saw on another site is "Exhibit Only". I got excited over nothing... ( View formatted comment » )

According to my thread about Gundam favorites...I would beg to differ. There were at least 3-4 other people who said SEED was their favorite series, so apparently I'm not the only one in the world that likes SEED. Would you like your /fail with or without fries? ( View formatted comment » )

I'm referring to MG only, not regular 1/100 even though you seem to count them in the same category. I personally would expect Bandai to at least consider Justice, Aegis, Duel (w/ Assault Shroud), Blitz, Buster and Providence. I mean c'mon, if they can make MG of MS that have all kinds of kits made of them from the OYW, why can't they do the same for other series? ( View formatted comment » )

Okay top row I can tell Allelujah, Hallelujah, Setsuna, Tieria, and Lockon. Then the bottom row is Saji, Billy, I'm guessing Patrick, Graham, Soma...who's that supposed to be at the end? Ali? Sumeragi? Alejandro? ( View formatted comment » )

Man I hate Ali Al Saachez with a passion, but his Enact looks so dope. The GN-X, or "Jinx" like they call it in the show, looks pretty cool as well. I wasn't a big fan of the Avalanche Exia so I'm not overly impressed with the kit, nor am I big Tieren fan, so that kit doesn't do much for me either. Kinda sucks that the GN Arms Type-D is an exhibit only piece and probably won't get released anytime soon. ( View formatted comment » )

BTW, there's more difference in the kits besides color scheme. Quess' has a different head for one. Plus each comes with a different gun. Quess' comes with the mega gatling gun (that's the official name...don't ask me why), while Gyunei's comes with a beam assault rifle. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm a sucker for gatling guns so I've always liked Quess' Jagd Doga more than Gyunei's, even if the red on silver combination does look a little wierd. I say toss a coin... ( View formatted comment » )

At this point, really nothing from the OYW will excite me, save for a MG Gouf 2.0. Meh on the RX-78-2 vers 2.0, and meh on the MG Guntank as well. Like I said in the other thread, I would much rather see stuff from series that haven't gotten much MG love such as Gundam Wing/Endless Waltz, Gundam X, Victory Gundam, Gundam ZZ, etc. Hell, even something from Gundam 00 would interest me a lot more than this OYW stuff. Ah well, new stuff that doesn't interest me = more time to catch up on old stuff that does interest me. ( View formatted comment » )

Sorry, but *SNORE*...can they give the OYW a rest already, please? I mean there's so many other MS from other series they could do, and yet they continue to churn out OYW stuff. Granted, a MG Guntank hasn't been made before, and I get they're trying to market it along with the RX-78-2 vers 2.0, but c'mon. We have barely anything from Wing/Endless Waltz, and ZZ, nothing from X or Victory, and there's still plenty of stuff from SEED that they can do (DESTINY certainly has got enough, but SEED is still lacking). Oh... ( View formatted comment » )

So is this a kit, or a premade transformable action figure? If it's a kit, I'm going to pass because I don't have very good luck with transformable model kits. If it's a premade transformable action figure, however, I'll definitely consider getting it. ( View formatted comment » )

Yeah, I sent them a message asking if customers outside of Japan could order some of their SRW stuff, and they said they couldn't because of licensing issues. ( View formatted comment » )

I actually think the Impulse Gundam's docking system is a lot closer to the RX-78-2's core block system than the docking system for the Victory and Victory 2 Gundam. Each part of the Victory Gundams have parts that transform (most complicated being the arms and hands) which makes the design way more complicated than the Impulse Gundam which more of a "limbs extending" thing rather than a true transformation. I think that's the main reason that we haven't seen any V Gundam MGs made yet. The docking and transforma... ( View formatted comment » )

Oops, my mistake...Mermaid Gundam is from Denmark, not Sweden, but again, what do Mermaids have to do with Denmark? ( View formatted comment » )

If you are understand that fact, then almost all the G Gundam designs make perfect sense (I still don't get what Mermaids have to do with Sweden though). Nether Gundam is called so because of The Netherlands, so naturally it would be based on a windmill. The funniest one to me is Gundam Maxter. So many American stereotypes thrown into one...a surfer, a cowboy, a boxer and a football player. ( View formatted comment » )

Why is everyone calling this a kit? I thought it was a premade, transformable toy, like most of Studio HalfEye's previous stuff. HLJ has it listed as an "action figure". Anyways, at 57,000 yen...no thanks. Plus, I don't like that Studio HalfEye sacrifices proportions to make accurate transformations. Sometimes it works (like in their Gunbuster), but sometimes it just looks plain strange (like their Grungust Type 1). ( View formatted comment » )

Sure G Gundam had it's share of really wierd designs, but it isn't the only Gundam series with ugly/wierd designs. I find a lot of the Titans', Zanscare Empire and most of Turn-A's designs to be just as strange. Plus G-Gundam gave us some badass designs as well (God, Master, Spiegel, Rising and Shining to name a few). Wierd designs or not, I'd take G Gundam over any UC show anyday. Actually, I should've put "Favorite MS or MA that isn't a Gundam". You can pretty much put anything there that isn't a battleship or a Gundam. ( View formatted comment » )
