At the moment have all my figures in the open, but I'm planning to buy a Detolf or two asap. But if I would have cases like those in the picture, I would only put two or three figs into one case, otherwise it's way too full! I think the figures need a lot of space to stand out nicely, so I'll probably end up putting only one or two figures on one shelf in Detolf. Meaning a lot will be left outside, unless I'll buy like ten Detolfs :D ( View formatted comment » )

As Danny said, for a first timer the number of lenses and brands seems a bit confusing. Another thing that raises questions is the cost, photographing isn't a cheap hobby. But still, seeing nice shots like these makes me want to buy a dslr and try it out. ( View formatted comment » )

I've been thinking for many months of buying my first dslr, but I just can't seem to able to make up my mind. Probably gonna get Canon EOS Kiss F (1000D/Rebel XS) when in Japan next month, costs less there. The lens coming with the kit is just a basic lens, EF-S18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS, but I think it's enough for a beginner like me. Then again, if I end up spending too much on figures and erogee, might have to skip the camera and buy it next year. ( View formatted comment » )

Here in Finland we have 8% for books, 17% for food and for everything else 22%. And you can see it in the prices, almost everything costs a lot. It's always nice to go to Japan knowing that practically everything is cheaper than in your own country. And still, many people here think that Japan is much more expensive than Finland, though on many things it's quite the opposite or at the same level. And bargaining is quite rare, you might be able to do it in some small stores where the salesman is also the owner, but not really... ( View formatted comment » )

Mmm, the food pics always make me hungry, but nevertheless they rock. I bought my current mobile about 4 years ago and have no plans of changing it unless it actually stops working. And as for my phone bill, it's usually less than 5 euros a month. ( View formatted comment » )
